Lights! Lights! Lights! Turn it off!

You saw that the curtain behind your bed had been torn away. You close your eyes in hopes to get rid of the horror, but the light just shined through your eyelids.

You sat up, your hair a mess and started to frantically scan the room for the culprit.

"Mom" you stared blankly at her. "I thought today was Sunday?" You pulled your hair up with one hand and got off your bed with the other.

"Nope, it's Monday. Hurry and get ready you slept through your alarm!"

You released your hair as you squinted your eyes to look at the time. "Shit!" You thought. You were going to miss the bus.

Scrambling quickly to your bedroom door, you take a brush through your
wild (h/c) hair and forgot about breakfast. You put on appropriate clothing for your classes and dashed out the door.

Panting, you turn to see your mother waving goodbye to you. No time to wave back, the bus is down the road!

Racing to the stop sign a bead of sweat ran down your nose. The bus stopped and the door swung open. The bus driver stared at you coldly, but you just shrugged it off and stepped on the bus.

You shifted your glance at your assigned seat to see someone else sat in it. Great. Now I have to awkwardly sit next to her.

You quickly but carefully took your backpack off and sat next to the sophomore.

She looked you up and down and rolled her eyes. Sigh.. "Another person that out of the blue hates me." You think to yourself bitterly.

The bus driver, after a while of waiting for a couple to cross the road, drives off and heads for your school. A dreaded place. You take your hand and slip it in your pocket, cautiously, to take out your phone.

Plugging in your headphones you choose your favorite song.

You smile.

You close your eyes.

And to your horror you figured out you started to sing. Things happen so fast.. Believe it or not your voice was graceful and smooth. Your singing was amazing.

Your eyes filled with embarrassment as a couple of students started to look at you in disbelief. You look away and cover your mouth, you felt like crying but held back. You didn't want to get even more embarrassed.

Your bus soon arrived at school, little did you know the day would get better and better.

But nonetheless, students would still give you cold looks and scoff at you. You just hated that, you wish you had more friends.

That would change. It's only a matter of time.
