Scurrying off the bus, you notice one of your friends pass by, she had dirty blonde hair, long, and in a ponytail. She was so pretty to you.
Hanging on to your whale of a backpack, you run towards her and hug her with a strong grip. "Caitlin!" You exclaimed joyfully.
"Ahh! (Y/n) it's been too long." She smiled brightly, with her beautifully shaped face. "It's been two days." You laugh, patting her on the back. The happiness soon became silence as she spoke "I have something to tell you when we get to the courtyard." Caitlin sounded serious while climbing some steps.
"Haha.. ok." You brushed it off while curling your (H/L) hair with your index finger anxiously.
I wonder what she wants to tell me.
Does she not like me anymore?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I say something that got her angry?
Is she going with what everyone else says and hates me for no reason..?
I guess I'll find out soon...
"Ok, (Y/n). This is going to be a real shocker." She scoffed, a grin growing from ear to ear.
At the moment, you lost all hope in caring anymore so you just let loose and stared her in the eye fearlessly. "Go on." You sighed.
"The most popular kid in the school likes you! And he's a senior! Ya lucky bastard.." She laughed.
"Popular senior?" There's plenty of those.. And how am I supposed to know who the most popular senior is? I'm always hidden in a book. Can you give me some more details?" You asked, a little agitated.
"I should bring him to you, huh?" She smiled most evilly.
"N-no thank you," you blushed, knowing he might be hot and you being you, may mess everything up. "He was probably talking about someone else."
"No way, Chris and I were talking about it. Someone told me he said your name!" Caitlin giggled childlike.
"Really?" You crossed your arms. "And how do I know this isn't one of your guys' little pranks?"
"I'm telling you, you're going to find out if you just talk to him!" The dirty blonde barked.
Anxious, you rested your book bag on the floor and smiled softly at Caitlin, then looking down at the floor. If she's pranking me I might as well prank her and go with it! Your evil mind thought. And if this backfires..
...
It won't.
"Alright, alright. You got me! Maybe someone at this school does like me. Lead the way o' fair one." You joked, standing in a drama-like position.
Caitlin looked ecstatic.. Too ecstatic. That worried you— maybe just a little.
Before you knew it, you were being dragged off by the wrist, first to Chris to talk about it, then to a group of tall, scary, intimidating, seniors. Two had ponytails, one had a bun, and the others had their hair down or shaved.
One of them caught your eye. Then you slowly realized... THIS ISN'T A PRANK. RETREAT! RETREAT! Your mind was going a million miles per hour as your eyes darted left, right, left, trying to find a way to escape what was happening.
Caitlin confidently tapped one of the group members' backs without hesitation and stood tall. "I am looking for the one that enjoys looking at this ones curves?" She pointed at you, jerking your arm playfully.
Out of embarrassment and pity you covered your face, her still holding your wrist tightly.
To your amazement ALL the boys turned to look at you like THEY were the ones that had the answer to Caitlin's disturbing question.
"Me." One of them spoke up. His hair was wildly curly, his voice cut deep through the air.
...
Silence.
..."So! Uhm.." Clearly wrong about who Caitlin anticipated for it to be, she became extremely jealous. "I'll leave you to it!" She let go of you, speed walking off.
Shiiiiiit :)
Looking off at her retreating to Chris, the curly haired senior basically had to kneel to you, turning you around. "You must be (y/n). It's nice to finally talk to you." He said with a smirk, his eyes reading you like a good book.
"Y-yeah.." Here comes the infamous stutter. "Never caught your name." You spoke nervously, obviously feeling bombarded by his friends also looking at you with twinkling eyes.
"Thomas. Thomas Jefferson." He smiled, his voice catching you off guard once again.
"And these guys?" You asked pointing at the dogs behind him, their tongues basically hanging out at the sight of you.
Thomas stared at them coldly, causing all but one of them to back off.
"Hamilton." He spoke from his clenched teeth.
