We ran over to the dining hall where we could see everyone pinning down André.
MAXWELL: "Wow, you really did capture him."
PATRICK: "Strategy is important to any success story."
ANDRÉ: "Might I ask what your problems are?"
BRANDON: "We're stopping you from killing someone!"
ANDRÉ: *Sigh* "Did I ever say that I was going to kill someone?"
ERIN: "I... Don't remember him ever saying that he would."
ANDRÉ: "Exactly, so why don't you let me go."
MACKENZIE: "Our previous killers never said that they were going to kill anyone so-"
NIKKI: "Let him go."
PATRICK: "What?!"
NIKKI: "Just... Please let him go."
BRANDON: "Nikki, this guy is a threat to everyo-"
NIKKI: "I SAID LET HIM GO!!!"
They released him.
NIKKI: "Bringing someone into capture like that when they haven't killed... That isn't hope."
PATRICK: "Hope? You don't understand what hope is..."
NIKKI: "Maybe I don't, but I know about it a hell of a lot more than you do!"
BRANDON: "I think we shouldn't be fighti-"
PATRICK: "SILENCE!!!"
NIKKI: "Don't you dare tell him to shut up!"
PATRICK: "Fine. So this is your version of what hope is? I prefer mine better so enjoy your meaningless hope. I'm going to bed. Because true hope ISN'T letting someone like André roam free around this island."
THEO: "Bed? Is it that time already?"
BRANDON: "That seems to be the case..."
ERIN: "Then we need to get out of here before he locks the doors."
And so we did. We left the dining hall and each of us returned to our cabins.
Patrick has made me so angry that I could...SPIT!
True hope... Maybe I don't know what that is. But I will find it somewhere. Starting tomorrow I'm going to become the best of friends with everyone to see if that is what true hope means.
