- Lee Minseo's POV -

This morning I walked into the house that had been left abandoned for at least a month, staring at the dust left on all the shelves and picture frames.
"Wow this place needs cleaning." Sehun sighed as he walked in behind me, dumping a box of my personal belongings on the floor. "Let's get to work then."

Now, six hours later, the place finally looked clean again. We found mould beginning to grow in the shower, and quickly managed to kill it, but thankfully there was nothing else majorly wrong with the place. I didn't leave any food in the house so nothing had gone out of date, and it seems that my parents continued to pay the bills considering that water and electricity still worked.

"I am SO fucking hungry." I cried out. "Can we go get food?"
"I'm not gonna say no to that." Sehun smirked at me, and we both picked up our bags, making sure to lock the door.
"Hey, Minseo!" A voice called out from around five meters away. I turned around from locking my door and saw Jungkook run over.

"Oh hi Kookie." I smiled, and I watched his face soften slightly at the nickname.
"Umm, can I borrow your phone for a minute please?" He asked. Sehun suddenly became intrigued, stepping closer.
"My phone?" I asked, and he nodded. "Why?"
"Well, you see, I kind of umm.. lost the text messages that you were sent." He whispered.

"You lost them!?" I exclaimed, my face filling with shock. What an absolute idiot. But then I remembered what Jimin said last night. He said he'd deal with the messages. Holy shit.
"Yeah, I know, fucking idiot over here right?" He sighed awkwardly. "Can I borrow your phone to re-download them please?"

"I.. deleted the messages." I confessed, stating the truth but feeling the guilt as I watched his facial expression sadden. "It was something the therapist told me to do, to cleanse myself of what happened." I took a breath. "I-I'm sorry, I wouldn't have deleted them if I knew you needed them-"
"No no, don't blame yourself." He told me. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have lost them." He took a shaky breath, looking at the floor. "Shit."

"What's gonna happen now?" Sehun butted in.
"I- I don't know." Jungkook rubbed his forehead with his hand, trying to think of something. "I need to tell Mingyu, sorry for interrupting." He then turned around and began to walk off, leaving Sehun and I staring at him, confused and unsure what to say.
"See you later?" I called, but it sounded more like a question. To which the reply was a curt wave.

"This cannot be good." Sehun mumbled.
"He won't get fired, will he?" I asked.
"I don't know." He sighed. "Hopefully not." I couldn't help but feel awful, knowing that it wasn't Jungkook's fault. But I can't exactly tell him that Jimin deleted them.
"Let's just go get food, yeah?" Sehun smiled at me.
"Yeah, let's go." I replied.

- Jeon Jungkook's POV -

My head was on the desk in defeat, and all Mingyu could do was stare at me pitifully.
"What am I gonna fucking do?" I cried out. "I'm done for! Minho is not in a good mood and is not gonna forgive me. That evidence was crucial!"
"Hey, it wasn't that crucial." Mingyu told me reassuringly.
"It was what showed us that Yoongi's actions were hostile." I replied. "There were threats on there. Now we know that he didn't kill anyone, those texts and Minseo's testimony are the only things that we can get him done for."

"You're forgetting Sehun." Mingyu replied. "And Jimin. And me. Jisoo, Minho, you. We all saw him shoot Jimin, and threaten Sehun with a gun. He's not getting away with it Jungkook. We won't let him."
