(A/N): I went down a giant Internet wormhole trying to do research for this chapter. There's so much information and I do not study law, neither have I ever been in a court room, so I have no idea if what I'm doing is accurate.

If there's any mistakes, please just bear with me, since the plot is kinda based around what happens here. Thanks xx

- Lee Minseo's POV -

Today was the day. The day of the trial. I hadn't slept much the night before as I was too nervous, and instead spent most of my time revising the alibi.

I'd met up with Jungkook beforehand, and we planned to go in together. We stood outside the court hall, and I felt Jungkook lightly squeeze my hand as a form of comfort. I squeezed back, trying to rid myself of this awful nervousness I felt. I hope Jimin's alibi works. I really do.

We walked in, not late, but not too early, and a lot of people were already here. Minho, Mingyu and Jisoo from the police station, Sehun and Dr. Lu Han, and Jongin, Yugyeom and Lisa's parents too. I noticed Mingyu gesture Jungkook to come over, and he looked down to me.
"Do you wanna go see my colleagues?" He asked. I hesitated, not really. I don't want officers to pick out any holes in my alibi before I even say it.

I looked round for a scapegoat, trying my best to think of some way to get out of it, when I saw Jungkook's hyungs walk in.
"No, it's okay." I smiled. "You go, I'll stick with your hyungs." I smiled, giving him a wave before he left. With that I made my way over to the five boys, Jimin noticing me first.

"Minseo!" He smiled, walking over to me and wrapping his arm around me. "How are you?" He leant close to my ear in a discreet way. "You ready?"
"Yeah." I smiled back at him. "I'm all good." And the pair of us walked over to the other four boys. We made small talk for a while, but then the trial was about to start.

We all sat down, everyone in the room looking anxious as fuck. Then when everything was about to start, they brought him in, Min Yoongi. He still had a bandage wrapped around his head, and he looked extremely weak and frail. Two guards held him at either arm as he was walked into the hall, and placed into his seat. The look in his eyes was desolate, completely void of any sign of hope. It looked like he'd already accepted his fate. Hopefully I can change that.

Then the smart people started saying some smart boring things, which my head couldn't really keep up with, but then I started to understand some words that came out of their mouths.

"Min Yoongi." The judge spoke. "For the murder of Kim Jongin, Kim Yugyeom, and Lalisa Manoban, how do you plead?"
"Not guilty." He spoke up, causing people to gasp. That's right, the general public don't know about the real killer. Jungkook told me about it by accident, but told me not to tell anyone.

"And pointing a firearm with malicious intent towards Oh Sehun?"
"Guilty."
"And for the assault with a deadly weapon against Park Jimin?"
"Guilty."

By pleading guilty for the things we can't 'disprove' Yoongi will lessen his sentence, is what Jimin told me, as the criminal has admitted their wrongdoing.

"And, for the kidnapping of Lee Minseo, how do you plead?" The judge's voice bellowed. The room was silent, waiting for Yoongi to say something. Anything.

"Not guilty." He spoke, and I could feel the outrage radiate off the man sat next to me. Jungkook. He was angry, infuriated, and I could feel it. Jimin, however, sat completely calm next to me on the other side. Everything was going to plan so far, Yoongi was doing everything Jimin said.
