Still Sapphire's POV
As soon as they entered the room her eyes snapped to the door.
"Princess what's wrong. What's the matter." Matthew (her husband) asked.
"W-why c-can't I feel m-my l-legs. I-I c-can't f-feel t-them w-what's w-wrong w-with me." Dora asked and I can't help but cry. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I look up and see Matthew, then he hugs me.
"Baby please when we tell you what's the problem promise not to freak out alright." William asked.
She looked at us with tears in her beautiful eyes then slowly nodded.
"Alright, well you see when you fell down from the stairs your ribs broke and your spinal cord was affected so you are let's say paralyzed but we are going to make you feel better so you can walk again." After he finished saying this she just looked at everyone.
"S-so y-you m-mean I am paralyzed." She asked with an innocent look on her face which made me feel like hugging her but I can't because the doctor said we should not stress or put too much weight on her.
"Yes princess." Matthew finally spoke and he looked like he wanted to cry but was holding it in.
She nodded and cried silently. Then I remembered a question I wanted to ask her.
"Princess, the doctor said he saw traits and signs of abuse on your skin, I just want to know what happened to you. I can understand if you don't want us to know." I asked.
She started shaking and the machine started beeping again.
"No no no no y-you c-can't k-know." She said repeating it over again while dragging her hair. I called the doctor and he gave her a sedative so she can sleep.
Four days later
"Mrs James you can take Isadora home now, she is doing quite well. There is also a wheelchair available for her." The doctor said.
"Okay, did you hear that Dora we are going home." I told her but she just looked at me blankly and nodded. That's how it has been since we told her she was paralyzed. She only nodded and smiles but you can see that behind the smile she is in pain and she is also suffering.
"Let's get you dressed up, yeah." I asked. But she just nodded which resulted in me sighing.
