Run! Don't let them catch you. Protect Annabeth! Run! These thoughts skittered through his-my- mind. I took a scattered breath. Run. I continued running, as fast and as far as his-my-legs could go. I felt overwhelming panick crawl up his-my- throat. They're behind you! Lead them away. Faster their catching up! I took another scattered breath as I felt my legs weaken. Jack has her. She's in safe hands. Safe... He-I- stumbled and fell. She's in safe hands. I felt them surround me as I reached into my pocket and grabbed the pill. Forget. Don't give them her. I pulled my hand to my mouth and swallowed. Someone was shouting but I didn't see who. As I felt myself being lifted, the pill did its work. Forget. Don't give them her... I felt my head slowly fill with cotton balls then darkness came over him-me.

I gasp, sitting up as the blanket fell. Not the dream again. I thought as I sat up. When I got this host a month ago, I had just came from the Home planet and this host was one of the few rebels that resisted. That we know of. My mind supplied. Hearing a knock on the door I put on a silver shirt and hurried over.

"Hello." Milo said. She was one of the first to greet me on this planet. I smiled and greeted her.

"Hello Milo. You're here because?" I asked, my voice sounding rough from lack of use.

"Sun Singer asks if you've found anything. Useful." She added.

I sighed. "No. Remember this host wiped his own memory before he could be recovered. The only thing I know is the girl's name. Annabeth. I've said this many times." She coughed. "Now I would like to get showered and changed. I have a meeting I must attend in..." I looked at the clock next to my bed, "32 minutes." I said respectfully as I maneuvered the door shut.

Moving over to the closet I looked at the clothing. Should I wear a suit? No to formal. Dress pants? No. Blue jeans? I pondered the idea for a second before agreeing. Converse? No. Boots... ? Maybe. I grabbed the boots and a creme colored shirt. Getting dressed I looked in the mirror as inspected the clothing. Casual? Check. Durable? Yes. Comfortable? Check. I glanced at the clock and ran out the door. 21 minutes left. I ran to the parking lot, saying sorry if I bumped into someone, and ran towards my Jeep. The Jeep I own is solar powered, so as to help the environment, and filled with food and medical equipment. Just in case an emergency happens and I'm the only one nearby. I hop in and drive out of the parking lot. Making sure to keep below the speed limit, I drove towards the Singing building.

The Singing building is my chosen post. I work as a healer, I'm one of the ones who go out into the wilderness to help a person. 9 minutes left. I parked in a parking lot and leaped out, running into the building. "Hi." Soul's say as I run by. 4 minutes left. Left. Right. Left. Left. Right. Into the meeting room.

"Ah. Dancer. Your here. We were just about to start." My chief said. I nodded and sat down at my chair. "Now that everyone's here, we may start. Have there been any casualty's?" We shook our heads. "Good. Good. So how was your weekend?" There was a chorus of goods and nice's around the table. I felt my watch beep. Another client. I stood and some turned their heads.

"I'm sorry I have to go. I have a client." I said as I made my way out of the room. "Southeast 123 miles." My watch said. "Emergency." I hurried out of the building to my car. "Emergency." I drove out of the parking lot and turned left. "Turn right. 51 feet." I turned right and kept going until I was out of the city. I came towards crossroads and my watch said "Turn left." I grimaced and turned down the creepy road. Why couldn't this patient of have been on the new road? Not the old dark winding dusty road. But I couldn't leave someone out there if they're hurt. "You have arrived. At your destination." I stopped driving and got out.

"Hello? Sir? Miss? Are you okay?" I called. I went to the car and grabbed my bag full of food and medicine. Should I bring my watch? I thought. No leave it. It might get damaged and you might need to call for help. I took it off and played it on the driver side seat.

"Help..." I heard a mans voice call out. I panicked and hurried over to where I heard his voice. Slowly walking past the trees, I felt like I was being watched. "Help..." I walked and found a small clearing, and at the edge if it was a man. He was on the ground with a hand holding his leg. Oh the poor thing.

I hurried over and crouched next to him. He looked taller than me and when I looked into his eyed I gasp. He was human. But he was hurt and I couldn't allow anyone to stay hurting while I'm here. Plus I pity the humans. Not all of them are bad. Its not their fault we stole their world. I grabbed my bag in a rush and pulled out some medicine. "Are you okay? Where are you hurt?" I asked with concern in my eyes. Should I call the seekers? No, they'll make him a host. "I won't turn you in or anything. Here, once your okay you can have this bag. Its full of food and medicine if you need it."

I reached over and grabbed his jaw, gently willing it open. When his jaw opened I reached for the sprayer that said 'No Pain' and sprayed some in his mouth. As his eyes cleared I finished healing him. When he started getting up, I panicked, left the bag next to him, and bolted. I didn't want him to get hurt or my host (even if my host's was not there in mind and I was alone in the body).

"Stop!" He yelled as he got up and ran after me. Damn this body and it's-my-  small legs..I felt him gaining on me and hurried to get to my car. "Ray! Get him!" I heard him yell from behind me. I turned around to see who he was talking to when I felt something hit me then blackness.

"STOP!"

"NO YOU STOP!"

"MIKE LET GO!"

"NO!"

"AGH! STO-"

"Shh. I think its waking up! He looks like a cute puppy." UGh. stupid radio! I pulled the pillow over my head and tried to go back to sleep.

"MILO! TURN OFF THE DARN RADIO. THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT CUTE PUPPIES! Stupid souls..." I mumble into the bed, turning onto my side. I heard chuckling coming from my left and turned my head. A man was standing against the wall in the left corner and his mirror version was sitting on the ground. The one standing had black jeans and a dark blue shirt on. The one sitting had the same except he had a green shirt instead. "Woa. Y'all are hot," I blurted out then felt my face burn. The one standing up started laughing even harder. I closed my eyes but shot them open when I remembered what happened. "You kidnapped me?" I asked questionably. He nodded his head and kicked off the wall casually. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Why?"

"Because you're funny. And plus you didn't turn me in," he paused, "you're not like the other souls."
