"What do you mean they accepted? I never signed up!" I exclaimed, confused. Who would want a person like me at their school? I get the highest marks in my class but that school is just so elusive. No one knows anything about it and suddenly I get a letter saying i've been accepted to something I never even signed up for.

"Well you're still going. Its a free education and the letter said everything is paid for. I guess you get a scholarship with your grades," Ms. Agulara, the orphanage owner, said, "so go pack. It says here that you have to be ready by Saturday and that you'll be picked up on Sunday." She started reading from the paper she recievied. " 'The school is surrounded by woods and only the best students are allowed in. When the students arrive they are sworn to secrecy to not reveal anything they learn or see.' See it's a very prestige school and you are going. That is final. Now go pack, it's Saturday and you leave tomorrow. Shoo-Shoo." She waved her hands at me and I slowly left to go pack.

Why me?

"Hello, I'm going to assume you're Blaze. Well I'm here to pick you up. My name is Sebastian Trent and I'll be your driver. Please get in and allow me to handle your luggage, it's a long trip." Sebastian said. I laughed and put my hand up in a peace sign symbol before saying,

"Peace to the chipmunks!" I handed him my bags and got in with my small, 'man purse' next to me with a book inside. When I heard the car start up I started reading 'Blind man's wolf' a gay werewolf romance novel that looked interesting when I bought it and is proving to be even more hot than I thought it would be.

I was so emersed in my book that I didn't even relized we stopped until he said, "We're here." I jumped at his voice and looked up. As true to his word as the unicorn president, we were here. In front of us on a lushous green lawn, sat the school- mansion more likely-. It was a gigantic building... 4 stories high from what I could see, and it was painted a dark green. It looked wonderful and not at all what I had been expecting. When I looked at the sky line my eyes widened. Dang I must've been so emersed in my book to notice it was like 6 o clock.

I got out and helped Sebastian get my crap out of the car. When everything was out he drove of back down the road. "Welcome to our school." Some one said behind me. I jumped and turned around to be met with a middle aged man that was probably the principal.

So me being me had to say the first thing that came to mind, "Are there any hot vampires here?"

He raised his eyebrown in amusement, "Yes, in fact if I do say so myself, we do," He said with humor, "we also have some very hot werewolfs and fairy's."

I started laughing, thinking he was joking, and didn't see the serious expression on his face. He led me to the school. I grabbed my bags but he told me to just leave them. I grabbed my carry bag with my book in it and followed him into the academy.

He pointed out some of the halls and classrooms as we passed them and when we got to his office he opened the door for me and beckoned me in. So far I had seen nobody in the school, it seemed disserted. Like a rotten body left in the desert for a few months.

I entered his office and sat down on one of the plush chairs in there, noting the pictures and paintings on the walls. "I need to explain something to you," the principal said, "please don't say anything until I'm done. Okay?" I hesitantly nodded. "This school really is full of vampires, werewolfs, and fae. I'm sorry I didn't tell you in the letter, but you are the only human here, and we're doing an experiment to see how well the supernatural can hold their... uh how do I explain this? Their senseless behavior." I opened my mouth to say something but he held up a finger, "if they can hold their mind around you then we might allow more supernatural to... mingle with humans. Now you may speak."

"Why me?" I asked in a shaky voice, trying to take all of this in.

"Because you have unicorn blood in your veins. While it may not make you a supernatural it gives your blood a very delicious taste and an even stronger smell." Unicorn blood?

"What kind of supernatural are you?" I asked curiously.

"I'm a fae. Which is short for fairy." With that he unfurled small blue transparent wings.

I gasped, reaching out a hand in awe but jumped when there was a bang behind me as the door burst open, "Uncle there's a very copacetic aroma in the air and the vamp-" I turned around to be met with a chest, and further up, a face hosting the warmest and friendliest eyes I have ever seen.

"Hello. I'm Dice, nice to meet you."
