Hey there, nice to meet you, seeing as you're going to be reading about my life I guess we should get better aquainted my name is Courtney but everyone calls me Cookie seeing as I'm obsessed with cookies, I used to be the cookie monster but that brought up alot of fat jokes so now I'm just Cookie,I love Oreos they're my favourite.

I'm an orphan, I have been since the age of just 7 years old, it was pretty traumatic as a 7 year old to be taken away from your family,or more like have your family taken away from you but none the less I powered through,eventually.My dad died not long before I got put into the orphanage, he was in a pub shooting, he used to play down the local pub every saturday night the people loved him and his guitar, saturday was the night the pub was the most busy and my dad was the reason,he taught me all I know, unfortunately as Saturday being the busiest day of the week at the pub some people took that as an oportunity, they took advantage of my dads talent and took everyone hostage in the pub,they robbed their wallets and valuables and smashed everything in the pub,the guy's who did it were armed and shot whoever dared to call them out, my dad being the man he was wasn't going to just sit around let them do what they were doing, he was a fighter and he was stubborn so they shot him, as easy as that they pulled the trigger and he was dead. It's starnge to think that It takes 9 months to create a life but it only takes seconds to take that life away.

My mom, well that as a fun story, so she was a drug abuser,don't get me wrong she was fun and happy but she was apparently an unsuitable parent and was not capable of looking after a child,which was total bullshit because she loved me more than anything in this world and she wanted to protect me as much as she could,she was taken away to rehab and I was taken away to this orphanage, I guess we both lost out there.

Let me tell you a little about me,I have rainbow scene hair, I know what you're thinking ew scene kids suck and they don't even know real music, but honestly I'm not a scene kid infact I hate Blood On The Dancefloor and other bands like them,Falling In Reverse and Black Veil Brides are pretty shit to be honest, Black veil brides are okay I guess but Andy puts me off his ego is bigger than Brendon Urie's forehead,none of the other members get enough recognition and it pisses me off.

My favourite bands are; Bring Me The Horizon, You Me At Six and 5 seconds of Summer. Please don't judge me 5sos are pretty talented lads.

The orphanage itself is pretty great, It's tidy and organized everything is in order and we've had outstanding inspections every year, the people within the orphanage, yeah not so much. They all hate me well atleast nearly all of them, my bestfriend is called Chloe; I call her Milkshake tjough because she loves them. She has light brown hair and blue eyes she's beautiful and I treat her as if she was my own daugther alot of the time, she likes the music I do which is a bonus,sometimes I'll sing her to sleep, her favourite song for me to play her is Lost it all by Black Veil Brides, I know I said that I didn't like them that much but their songs are beautiful.

I open up my laptop and go straight to YouTube, My mother bought me this laptop a couple of years ago and it means so much to me, I saw that Oli Sykes has posted a new video and I clicked on it,him and Hannah were looking at adopting a girl age 13-16 who was into the rock genre and liked gaming,Hannah and Oli have been engaged for a while and are getting married soon and whoever is chosen is a lucky son of a bitch.

I hear my door creak open and I put my laptop down,I see Chloe's head appear around the door she looked scared shitless,''What's wrong my little milkshake?''I ask her putting my arms out for her to crawl into across my bed,''The lightning is scaring me''She tells me, I hold her close to me,'' It's okay it can't get to you,you may stay in here with me if you want''I offered and she nodded,she sat under the covers and I got my laptop out again,''What you watching?''She asks as the browser reloads,''Oh Oli Sykes uploaded a video saying that he was adopting tomorrrow''I tell her,she gaspes,''That's so cool!''I laugh and nod,''Hang on a minute I need to change''I kiss her forehead and get pajamas' out of my closet, it was a pink shirt that on it said bff's with cartoon drawings of Cookie's and Milk,I got it because It reminds me of Chloe.

Walking into the bathroom I remove all my makeup, brush my teeth, wash my face and change, I quickly tie my hair up into a high pony tail, I looked like Rainbow dash from My Little Pony, a classic.I pull my phone out of the pocket of the skinny jeans I just took off and see I have a text off of Scar, His real name is Jordan but we call him scar because well you can make your own deduction.

Scar; Hey Cookie, I heard that Oli's adopting, I hope that you're the lucky one :) xx

Cookie; Ahahaha, thanks love but I think we all know that's not going to happen because well, I'm Me.

Scar; You're beautiful Cookie, he'd be stupid not to choose you, now shush your mush I'm going to sleep xx

Cookie; Okay whatever night loser :P

I walk back into my room and see Chloe lying down with her eyes closed, she looks so peaceful and precious, so fragile like anything that touched her would break her pale porcelin skin, She notices me enter the room and smiles.''Can you play me my song?''She asks her voice holds the softness of a majestic feather,''Of course''I nod and get out my dads old acoustic and start to strum the chords of her favourite song,Lost It All.
