Chapter 2. The Date

The next morning, Lyla woke up in delightful mood, like a woman on her wedding day. She took a shower, did her hair and make up, changed into a black Gucci jumpsuit, and put on a hint of her Nicki Minaj Pink Friday perfume.

"It's still missing something....Ah! Now I know!" She pulled out her jewelry box, and put on black hooped earrings and put on a silver two finger cross ring.

"Crap, I was about to walk out of the house with no shoes on," She quickly threw on some black wedges and walked out her room.

"Good morming Lyla, where are you heading off to so early?" Tanya asked while stepping out of her room,

Tanya, is Lyla's closest friend, she's sweet, caring, funny, and loves to smoke her vapor shark electronic cigarette. They were friends since middle school, and practically love each other like sisters. Lyla, has always taken Tanya under her wing and still does, they're inseparable. Though Tanya would always feel paranoid that Lyla was hiding something from her, but she felt that Lyla didn't need to know that, so she kept it to herself.

"Good morning Tanya, and taking care of some business that doesn't involve you in it." Lyla said.

"Rude much! Even though we're like sisters, you still keep secrets away from me!"

"Fine," Lyla said annoyed. "Danny Williams, asked me out." Lyla knew she was lying but she had no choice.

"You lucky thing you! How come you're always getting the good looking guys!"

"What can I say," Lyla said proudly while tossing her thick curly, black hair "he likes pretty...no beautiful girls, now stop questioning me or I'll be late for my date because I'm stuck here answering all your questions!"

"Oh, right...my bad! Enjoy your date!"

Lyla walked away from Tanya with a smirk on her face,"Oh trust me, I will...better yet I'm gonna have a blast."
