In this life you have to do what you love,
You've got to find that passion and don't let go.
Whoever said you don't belong,
Look them in the eyes and say "you're wrong".
People will try to ruin your dreams,
They'll make you think they have the key.
You must hold your head high and don't let go,
After all you've got the world to show.
You have to show them that you were right,
Watch from the corner as they wipe the tear from their eyes.
And when they start to wonder why you smile in delight,
Tell them you're burning out the darkness with some light.
Follow your dreams and don't let go!
Whatever you do just don't let go!
You are not something they can push or throw,
After all you've got the world to show.
