There's only two times in life when you really matter,
It's the bottom and top of the ladder.
At the bottom you crave for attention,
Made through a way to relieve some tension.
No one cares about what's in-between,
But whatever you do can't go unseen.
No one cares about the struggles you had,
But you hope and pray that they won't get mad.
There's only two times in life when you really matter,
It's the bottom and top of the ladder.
At the top your time is running out,
That's when people start to shout.
It's the time when they start to catch on,
It's the time they realized you're almost gone.
There's only two times in life when you really matter,
It's the bottom and top of the ladder.
