Welcome Back-!?!

Camila's POV

After hours of setting up the party, the gang and I thought it was a cool idea to go out for a bit. We chose a small café a few blocks down my place, we sat on the wall part of the cafe as I sat down near the window. I watched the little kids at the park just across the road, run around playing tag, sliding down the tall slide and enjoying the swing by pairs.

I wasn't joining the conversation my friends were having and was brought in when my best friend Dinah tapped my shoulder. I turned around, "Hmm?" She only smiled and told me to got to the park with them. I grabbed my bag and when we reached the park, I told the others that I would be taking a few shots. They nodded and I left.

I sat down below a tree and looked around. The trees were all green and the sky was clear. But one thing caught my attention, a girl by the bench, she looked familiar. She was on her phone when a boy walked up to her, she looked at him and stood up, kissing his cheek. I overheard a bit of their conversation.

"Where were you?" The girl asked, her raven hair was being blown by the wind but it looked good. "I was stuck at traffic and my driver didn't want to use the short cut, sorry babe." The boy said, the scene looked nice so I took a few shots of it, they looked nice. "Oh come on babe, I'm sorry. Come on, let's go, Laur." But what the boy said last made me freeze on my spot. Laur.

I was brought back to reality when someone tackled me in a hug. "Chancho! We have to go!!" Dinah said, another figure came to my view and it came down to me with Dinah. "Milz, you can do it!" Ally encouraged me. "I can't - breathe- help!" I tried, Ally lifted herself off of me and Dinah helped me get up. "Sorry Walz, just wanted to surprise you." Dinah apologised, "It's okay Cheechee. I'm fine now." I told Dinah, she nodded and hugged me. We walked back to the others and went back to my house, it is 4:30 already after all and the party starts at 6:00.

Once we got there, I saw my mom putting the food on the the table and caught Sofi trying to get some of the sweets. "Hey mom, I'm home!" I yelled, soon I was attacked by another hug, only this was from my little sister. "Kaki, you're back!" my little sister said. She stood up on her toes until she reached she reached my ear,"I need help Kaki, the candies." I giggled and nodded my head. "I'll get you some, wait for me upstairs later." I whispered back. She smiled and kissed my cheek before leaving.

I stood up and helped my mom, only for her to refuse. "But mom-" She cut me off saying, "You need to wash yourself now. The Jauregui Family will be coming in a few minutes." I nodded, giving up. I walked upstairs and saw Dinah and Ally with Sofi, on my bed eating candies. "Oh hey Milz, you want some?" Ally offered but I shook my head "I gotta go take a bath, Dinah can you pick me some clothes to wear? Not too revealing please, just simple Camila style. Thanks!" And with that, I grabbed a towel and entered the bathroom.

When I walked out of the bathroom, Dinah sat alone on my bed beside the clothes she chose." Oh hey Chancho, here it is. Simple Camila, right? " I smiled and nodded. She chose a long sleeved crop top, high wasted jeans and some comfy boots. She had also picked out a bow that matched it. God, I'm so grateful for having her as my best friend. Once I put on my clothes, Dinah left and I followed her downstairs.

"Woah..." There was a huge crowd in my house. I saw Dinah with Ally and Shawn standing just near me and I could see my Mom and Dad talking to Clara and Mike Jauregui, Taylor and Chris were by the food with Sofi and people that I don't know. It was loud, there was Lauren's music being played and the sounds only lowed down when the very special guest came in. "Welcome back Lauren!" Everybody shouted. I couldn't see her fully because of the crowd, but I can make out that she was wearing a leather jacket and a red plain shirt.

When the crowd around Lauren loosened up, that was when Ally told us that it's our time to see our old best friend. Ally grabbed my hand while I held Dinah's and she held Shawn's as we walked through the crowd. We finally reached Lauren, but she wasn't alone. There was a dark haired boy with her, he looked awfully familiar. I heard him saying "Babe, do you want me to get you something to drink?" And that's when it hit me like a wrecking ball. It was them who I saw at the park.
