Promise

What?!?!

Camila's POV

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Lauren... With another guy, I think Dinah and Ally noticed that I wasn't speaking nor doing anything cause they looked at me worried. "Mila, what's wrong?" Ally asked me, placing her hand on my shoulder. "Uh... I'm fine, yeah I'm fine." I lied, I was definitely not fine. "Chancho, are you sure? You don't look anything close to fine." I looked at them, damn of course they would know I wasn't alright, they're my best friends after all. "Maybe I'll tell you guys later... But I need to go to the kitchen." I told them and left. I walked through the crowd and reached the kitchen, where I found my little sister eating her dinner.

"Hey Kaki!" She exclaimed, smiling with her mouth full of chicken. "Hey Sofi, how's your food?" I asked, sitting beside her. We had a small conversation until she had to go to her bedroom, it was already her bed time. I was left alone, all the people inside my house was focused on the pop star, even my mom and dad. It was so loud until I heard someone gonna say an announcement.

The crowd shut up and looked at the person. They all saw Lauren reach the hand of the boy beside her. "Everybody, meet Jordan. My boyfriend." Everybody was shocked, and I exactly know why. They all knew about my past relationship whit me and they all know that we never broke it off. Gasps and whispers were shared for a minute or two, until they all looked at Lauren and smiled.
After a few minutes, I decided to go up to my room and sleep this off. As I entered my room, I was surprised to see my friends there, Dinah and Ally sere on the bed while Shawn was sleeping on the small couch. Both my friends turned to look at me and frowned. I looked at them and they stood up and scooped me into a hug.

"We were worried about you, we didn't see you at the crowd a while ago and thought that you might be sleeping. You aren't really that fond of parties." Ally explained, I snuggled my head closer to her shoulder and a few droplets of tears fell down on my cheek. Dinah rubbed my back for comfort and lead me to my bed. They gave me some clothes to change in and I sat down in my bed.

Ally went back down to the party while Dinah stayed behind. "Hey Cheechee?" I asked quietly, making sure not to wake up Shawn. "Yeah Chancho?" Dinah mumbled, I played with my hands, I was too nervous. "You guys talked to Lauren right?" I asked her, she nodded her head softly, "Has she talked about me?" Dinah looked at me, " I'm sorry but no she didn't."

"Not even asked where I was?"

Dinah simply shook her head, she didn't like it when I was upset. "Chancho, maybe she was distracted, you know cuz the is the first time she went back here." Dinah tried to make an excuse, but even she was confused why Lauren didn't even mention her childhood best friend that time. "It's okay, Cheechee. We still have school tomorrow, we need to sleep. Night Cheechee, love you." Camila said, wrapping herself in her blanket and turned her back on Dinah, she couldn't let her see that she was crying herself to sleep. "Goodnight Walz, love you too."

---Next Day ---

Camila woke up with her best friend beside her, she carefully sat up and saw that Shawn has already fell from the couch but was still sleeping and Ally was at the foot of her bed. She slipped out her comfy bed and went to wake up Shawn. "Shawn wake up!" She whisper yelled, Shawn grunted and sat up. "Where am I?" he questioned, "You're in my room. Now out, I need to change." Shawn lifted himself up and left the room.

I went to the bathroom to take a bath, and when I got out I chose my outfit for today's school. A plain white shirt, faded jeggings, white sneakers and a white cap, which of course, has the design of a bow. It was quite hot these days here in Miami, so why not wear something new that will make me feel comfortable, I mean, I'm not allowed to wear sweats in school, so these will do. I woke Dinah and Ally up and they instantly rushed to take a bath. Even had a little fight on who's the first to use the bathroom.

I went downstairs and saw that the place was till a little messy from the party. My mom and dad were at the kitchen while Sofi and Shawn were at the living room. "Morning Ma, Pa." I sat down on a chair and my mom served me my plate. Dad put down his newspaper and mom turned off the stove. I looked dat them and they looked right back, "Mija,"My dad spoke," we're sorry about Lauren." I nodded and continued eating." She'll be going to school with you for the last semester, hon. " My mom said and I nearly choked on my food. I drank my water and cleared my throat before reacting..." What?! " I was not expecting this, sure Lauren was staying but nobody told me she's going to school with me.

After my parents done some explaining, the gang and I finished out food and left for school. We were walking when a group of girls ran past us, making me fall. "Hey! Watch where your going." Shawn shouted after the girls, I stood up and dusted myself. Thank goodness I didn't have any scratch on me. "Why are they on a rush anyways?" Ally asked, Dinah only pointed to a raven haired girl, taking pictures with the girls. "Of course." I mumbled and continued walking.

I entered the school gates not even saying a word to the girl while my friends all said 'Good morning' and 'hi'. I wasn't planning on talking to her or even looking at her. And I plan to continue doing that for the rest of the day.
