Promise

Camila's POV

       The fu- UGH
    I didn't know what to do, Lauren sat across me with her boyfriend beside her. Putting her tray down, she began eating her lunch as I ate the sandwich Austin gave me. I felt him looking at me in concern, I glanced at him, giving him a weak smile. Dinah looked dat Lauren and let out a frustrated sigh. She looked at me next, as if saying "I can't believe this girl!"
I looked at him as well, saying "Don't bother, she's busy" She shook her head and faced the green eyed girl again.

   "So Lauren!" She exclaimed, the raven haired looked up, startled, "how are you?" She asked sweetly. "Well, I'm fine... Still gotta used to these tho, it's been a while since I last went to school". I suddenly had the urge to roll my eyes and mumbled, "Yeah, 6 years is a while." But Dinah heard that and laughed, receiving weird glances from all around the cafeteria. "What's funny, Dinah?" Ally asked, seemingly lost. "Oh nothing Ally, I just remembered something that happened to Chancho last week, right Chanch?" I nodded playing along and took another bite form my sandwich.

   Once I finished my lunch , I stood up and grabbed my bag. "Where are you going?" Austin asked, "Oh, I'll just go to class early, don't want to be late. Bye guys!" I gave Dinah a kiss on the cheek, as well as Ally and hugged Austin as I whispered, "I'll be at the library, tell Dinah and Ally." I released from the hug and he kissed my hairline, "See you later Mila!" He said and I left. I felt someone looking at me as I walked away but I shrugged it off.

    After the bell ring, I went to my next class with Ally and Austin, History. It ain't so bad... Until I saw them again. On the other side of the classroom, I entered the room and sat beside Ally and buried my head in my arms, releaseing a grunt that only Ally heard. "Milz, you alright?" I shook my head, I couldn't lie to my best friend, especially Dinah and Ally. "Tell me what's wrong princess." I lifted my head and saw her warm smile. I sigh, "It's just that, I cant help seeing the two of them. Heck I can't even help seeing just her! I don't know what I'll do Ally." She looked at me and just when she was gonna respond, our history teacher entered the room. "Good Afternoon Class! I am Ms. Ramsey," she put down her things and stood straight, "Today we have—" I suddenly cut her off, "A new student, also known as the Princess of pop, Ms. Lauren Jauregui along with her boyfriend Jake." There was silence until the boyfriend himself spoke up. "Umm... Its actually Jordan." He said looking at me and I glared at him. " That's what I said, Jacob." The class giggled and whispers were exchanged.

      Class started and we were being grouped up in fives. Of course I was grouped wiht the couple, Ms. Sunshine and my-ideal-boyfriend-cousin. I sat beside Austin and Ally was right beside me, we were facing Lauren and her boyfriend. "Hey guys... So, should we start?" Austin asked nicely, "The teacher isn't even giving us our topic yet." James or Jacob or whatever his name is said annoyed, I glared at him,"Don't talk to someone who was trying to be nice to you like that Johnny." I said coldly, I could sense Lauren was looking at me but I didn't look back. "Actually, I already have it Jimmy." I added, he grunted. "It's Jordan." I smirked and replied. "I know, Jaguar." He just sat back and crossed he's arms. Such a baby.

    After class, I went to the library for the book club. This was the right club for me, I love books so much that I was vice president of the club. I entered the library and saw Ariana with her hair in a high ponytail, wearing a denim dress that ended right in her knees. Her reading glasses perched on her nose and her eyebrows furrowed. "Hey wifey." I greeted her, she looked up and smiled, "Hey wifey, how are you?" I sat next to her pink bean bag and sat on my yellow one, "Exhausting actually. She's back." Ariana tilted her head to the side, which was plain cute. "Lauren." Her mouth turned to an 'O' shape and she nodded. "Oh I forgot To tell you that the new student joined the club."
"New student?"
"Yeah, the one with a boyfriend, jet black hair, pale skin  and-"
"Emerald eyes?"
"yeah... Have you seen her? My group of friends were talking about her all day."
"Ari, she's Lauren.." she gasp, "yeah..."
"Speaking of Lauren.." The girl entered the library and caught my eyes, she looked down and sat on a blue bean bag, just right across me. "Hey Ari, I'll just get a new book to read." I stood up and walked to the romance style. I felt someone following me but I didn't stop until I reached my destination.

   I finally turned around, and I wasn't surprised that it was Lauren. "Hey..." She let out, she actually sounded shy. "Why are you here?" I went straight to the point.
"I wanted to talk to you..."
"Oh and now I exist?" She looked at me, confused. "You left me, promised you'll come back for me. After a year of your leave, I didn't even get one call, Facetime, heck not even a message! After the next 5 years, you go home here in Miami, when I discovered that you were coming back. I threw a party just for you, I wanted to greet you and take you in my arms, but no. You came back,  wrapped in another man's arms! You didn't even remember me at the party did you? Not even a simple question of where I was. And now you wanna talk? Sure talk, and I'll listen. But it will never be the same like before. " I waited for her to answer, but she didn't. So I just left. It will never be the same.
