Why did you suddenly feel like this? This sudden wave of sadness just overcame you. The whole day was pretty much sad and you didn't really know why. You lived a peaceful live in the sea but still you just felt such strong sadness overcome you.

You decided that maybe taking a walk would make things better. Nope that didn't make anything feel better, probably worse since everyone else seemed pretty upbeat which made you feel a bit jealous. You decided to take a quick nap. That did make things better for the moment but when you woke up you just felt the same as you did before.

You looked out your window and saw that it had turned dark. "How long have i slept...?" you asked yourself, scratching your head in confusion. You just shrugged and laid down onto the bed, trying to fall asleep again.

You failed. You growled in frustration as you sat up, throwing the covers on the floor as you grabbed your head in pure frustration. You sat like that for a while, head hanging low as you only focused your eyes on the bed.

Once again you sighed and let your hands slowly fall down onto the bed. You sighed once more and stood up, hoping that maybe this time walking around the sea would make you feel better since no one was really out this late.

You stepped out from your house as you looked up at the dark sky, your eyes only seeing darkness. You slowly started to walk casually, hands in your pockets as you took in the fresh air. You let your legs take you whatever as you let your mind wander away, drowning itself in your million of thoughts and memories.

When you finally came to your senses you realized that you were in the sea of stars. You turned your body so you faced the open sea, eyeing it with a soft look inside your eyes. "so pretty..." you mumbled for yourself as you continued to look out. After some time of you staring out at the dark open sea you heard someone approach you.

You looked to the side and saw a familiar grey figure walking over to you. You smiled faintly at him when you saw him join you, standing beside you as he also looked out. "Hi Old" you said casually. He didn't really respond to you but at this moment you didn't really care. To be honest you didn't really have the energy to do so.

"You've been wandering much more than usual today" he suddenly said. You looked at him once again. "Huh? What do you mean?" you saw his usual rough expression change as you saw a slight irritation wash over his eyes. "Don't play stupid, i said you have been walking around much more today than usual" he repeated, looking at you with irritation.

You didn't really know how to answer that to be honest so you simply turned your head back to the open sea and just nodded. "Why?" he asked. You lowered your head slightly, narrowing your eyes slightly to the side as if it wasn't obvious that the shark knew something was wrong with you.

You and him have known each other for some time now and he basically know your habits, your emotions and personality like the back of his hand. Plus he was your familiar after all. Even if it didn't seem like that at all.

The shark was most of the time vulgar towards you but you never took his insults to heart, knowing he rarely meant them.

"I just have been feeling a little down today, that's all" you spoke quietly, narrowing your eyes down to the ground. "And why?" he asked. "Why do you sound so demanding?" you asked, looking back at him. He got a bit taken back by your question but only for some seconds as his rough look once again took over his face.

"Because i want to, that's why" he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Is that so, huh?" you asked. "Don't try and change the subject" he started, looking back at you. "And answer my question" he ended. You shrugged your shoulders at that. "i dunno..." you answered. Old felt his eyebrow twitch softly by your lack off interest of your own feelings.

"Is that all you have to say about this?" he asked. You simply nodded. "I seriously don't know Old, sometimes we all just get bad days for no reason" you started. "I'm sure you also get like this but if i know you just hide it behind a wall of cockiness and anger" you ended.

Once again you felt the shark get angry but his anger seemed a bit different this time around, making you turn your body to him as his rough eyes in some way got even more rougher. "H-Hey, i-i didn't mean it like that!" you quickly said, trying to calm him down a little bit. You saw him also turn to you, making you take a step back.

"And you only hide your sadness, believing that everyone actually thinks you are happy" you widen your eyes slightly by what he said and how his furious look looked like it could kill you any second now. "I've known you for a long time now so don't think i won't figure you out" he only said.

You suddenly saw him walk over to you quickly with big steps, making you feel slight fear wash over you. You didn't know what you would do so you simply closes your eyes. You felt a sudden ray of heat wash over you. You opened your eyes was greeted with Old's arms around you, holding you close to him.

You blinked in confusion for some seconds, not entirely sure if you should return the hug or not. After a minute or so you just decided to take your arms around him to and bury your face softly against his shoulder.

And just like that he started to feel your body shake softly in his arms and your grip tighten up around him. He pulled you down onto the ground when he started to see your legs shake, knowing that one way or another you both would end up on the ground.

He really wanted to say something, anything actually but he wasn't used to do this. He didn't know what to say but he did know that it was good that you were crying on him rather than you crying alone in your small house. He heard you take in shaky breaths, trying your best to calm yourself down but to no use. He remained silent though and just continued to hold you close to him, his rough expression now changed into a neutral one.

At least he knows that you aren't alone right now.
