A/N: I'm sorry for being away for so long but i have managed to feel better now ^^ I won't update so much though since i'm going away on vacation and stuff but i'll try to update as much as i can and when i get the chance! You were walking around the dark world, being in your own little mind and not paying attention to anything around you at the moment. You took slow steps as your gaze remained in front of you, a dull and neutral look inside your E/C eyes taking over them.
Most of the time your eyes was like that when you walked through this world. This world was not the happiest place so in your mind you felt like you didn't need to show happiness. Plus no one was here and you weren't with anyone at the moment so it was not like anyone was hurt by your manner.
You lifted your head up when you saw a faint glow take over your vision, seeing the moon slightly peak itself through the tall tress, shining it bright but soft glow on you. You stopped yourself as you continued to look up.
A nostalgic feeling overtake yourself suddenly, feeling itself flutter inside of you. You were reminded of a lot of memories just by this sight alone.
"Hey! Y/N!"
You laughed softly but stopped fast as you felt a sharp pain in your small leg. The young boy ran up to you, looking at you worriedly. "Seriously, you need to be more careful" he said with an equally worried voice. "It's fine, it's not like it hurts..." you mumbled, trying to reassure the green eyed boy that you were fine even though it hurt quite a lot.
"It's not good to lie!" he said, reaching his hand out to you. "Here, let me help you up" he said. You smiled softly at him as he suddenly started to carry you which made you get caught of guard but he just smiled softly at you.
"I can walk by myself you know" you said as you both started to walk and for some reason you had agreed that he could carry you on his back. "But you are hurt, i'm not going to let you walk when you have bruised your leg!" he said, looking at you seriously. You looked at him for a while until you let out a snicker.
"You are such a gentleman, huh?"
You continued to look up at the moon, feeling more nostalgic feelings overcome you. After a while you looked away and continued to walk through the familiar woods. You haven't seen your childhood friend for some time now and in all honesty you missed him.You sighed softly for yourself.
A sudden dry cough caught your attention and you looked to your right quickly. You walked to the tree slowly, already on your guard. You looked behind the tree, only to see a familiar person sit there.
"O-Odea!?" you said loudly in disbelief but also in surprise. You saw him look up at you weakly. "I-Is it Y-Y/N?" he asked with a raspy and weak voice as his bruised and beaten up face looked up at you. This made a sharp pain erupt in your heart, making you fall on your knees immediately and feeling a wave of worry overflow you. "What happened?" you asked.
"I-it's okay" he said, smiling softly. "No need to ask about that" he said. "B-But you are badly injured!" you said. "I-I'll take you to my place-" "No!" he said quickly and surprisingly loud. He heard how he raised his voice at you, making him feel ashamed. "A-Ah, i-i mean... you don't need to, i want to get to my place by myself, i'm sorry for yelling..." he said.
"But Odea, look at yourself! You can't get to your home now! it's too far away" you said. "It's fine Y/N i'm use-" he stopped himself abruptly as he was about to say something he knew would make you even more worried. "I-I mean i can easily get there, i promise" he said.
You looked at him for some moments. "Let me at least help you there, please Odea" you pleaded as a worried and sadden look took over your eyes. He looked directly into your eyes as he felt himself get in a dilemma
If that guy would see you help him he surely would try and get to you you to
But if he refused you would help him anyways and bring you to your place which was not a good idea
He sighed softly. "Okay" he said, you smiled softly as you immediately started to carry him on your back. You felt him loosely take his arms around your neck as he rested his head on your shoulder.
You walked at a fast pace, wanting to get to his home as fast as you could so you could treat his wounds. You didn't know who did this to him but you will find it out, that's for sure. They won't get away that easily...
You suddenly heard a small laugh from the mantis, making you look at him and stop with your murderous thoughts. "What's so funny?" you asked. "I mean, don't this bring back some memories?" he asked. You faced your heard forward once again. "....mmm, it kind of does i guess...." you said. "Hey, do you remember when you had hurt your leg so badly that you actually had to wear a casket?" he asked. You nodded at that.
"And you got this huge scar afterwards! Do you still have it?" he asked. You nodded once again. "And you even said that you were okay and tried to convince me..." he mumbled. A sudden silence floated over you both and you felt him bury his head against your neck, making a small shiver run down your back.
"The rolls has really changed, haven't they?"
He mumbled sadly against your neck. "I'm really not showing my best side right now, huh?" he asked you. "Odea... it's okay" you said. "You still are the nice gentlemen that i meet all those years ago" you said. "Don't be to hard on yourself" you ended.
"Thank you Y/N for being so kind" he said. "No problem, you were always so kind to me" you spoke with a soft tone to your voice. "I think it's time for me to repay you, don't you think so?" you asked. Silence fell over you both once again but this time it was for a longer time.
"Odea?" you suddenly felt him snore softly on you, making you sigh out in relief. You thought he was dead for a moment there but he was just sleeping... You turned your head slightly and seeing him having his eyes closed softly and his mouth a little bit open.
"You really don't change, huh?"
