Melanie's POV:

A week has gone by since my little encounter with Asher. I've had it up to here with that ass wipe. After our argument that happened last week, he has made it his mission to make my life a living hell. It's like he gets some sort of rush out of it and it pisses me off.

Flashback

I stand at my locker trying to stuff all of my books in there at the end of second period. The next period I have to attend is Health and Wellness, so I have to put on my gym cloths.

As I try to push everything in I feel something spatter on my butt. I hear an eruption of laughter echo through the halls and as I look around, everyone's eyes are on me.

I look at the back of my pants and see an enormous splotch of chocolate pudding drenched all over my behind. You have got to be kidding me!

My face flamed at the embarrassment and before I ran full speed ahead, I look over to see Asher Brooks with the empty pudding cup in his hand doubling over in laughter.

Flashback over.

That basically sums up my week. Yes, Asher has made my life living hell. I mean life already sucks anyways, but this makes it a lot worse. I don't even know how many names I've been called that involve shit!

School is even worse now that everyone laughs at me when I walk through the halls. I can't just pretend to be non existent when everyone refers to me as the girl who shit herself. I will never forgive him for this.

Friday morning I wake up and get ready to go to class. I put on some grey leggings and a loose black sports bra underneath. I put on some running shoes and once I finish breakfast I head out the door.

As I arrive at school I walk to my locker with ten minutes to spare. "Hey Mel!" Says my best friend Sidney.

"Morning Sid, whats up?" I ask casually while closing my locker. I turn to face Sidney and smile at her. God, she is so gorgeous. I've always been so jealous of how Sidney looks. She has flaming red hair and freckles that dance around her face. Her blue eyes are striking and could stand out in a dark room. Not to mention she also has a killer body. She is on the schools wrestling team and is probably my one of the most fit people I have ever met.

"I heard about your little incident the other day." She says trying to hold back laughter. I smirk and send her a glare.

"Don't even think about bringing that up. God, I hate that clueless twit!" I shout with emphasis talking about the stupid player.

"Maybe he is kind of an asshole, but he is such a dream boat! Have you seen him? His dark curly hair, and his eyes, his freaking body? Oh my god!" She exaggerates.

"Calm down Sidney he's not that hot." I tell her lying. Who am I kidding? He may be a dick but he is sexy as all hell.

"He is totally bang worthy." She says smiling. We both burst out laughing and walk to class together.

Sid and I have been best friends sense we were young. We met when we were in preschool at the residential learning centre in the hood. Let me tell you, we were raunchy little kids. Thank god changed. I remember trying to start fires on old abandoned houses around the neighbour hood, or when I had my first cigarette at eight years old. We did some pretty dumb things as young children but we learnt from them as we got older. The worst idea we had was thinking it would be funny to walk into peoples houses and pretend we lived there. That didn't end well. Especially because half of the houses in our area belonged to drug dealers.

After saying goodbye to Sid I went to class and the day went by fast. I didn't see the annoying jerk today so I had no issues.

Finally, I arrive at home from school and my weekend starts. Although I'm not all that excited for the weekend because I have to work the whole time.
