The Date

I woke up in my bed it was already 1:00pm ever since hat happened I cant sleep at night I close my eyes and have nightmares so I've been falling asleep really late Carter's already home todays our date just thinking about it makes me get butterfly's in my stomach what if carter does like me what if we become a couple think about it grace and carter carter and grace I can daydream all day and night but the truth is carter doesn't like me he's not into relationships he goes by hit and quit and one night stands I heard the door ring I went downstairs and opened it. it was Robert I said hi and he said hey this is a recording I took of something if you want to know the truth of why Carter's hanging out with you listen to this if not then don't he handed me a disc and left I got my laptop and put the disc in it was about to play and there was a knock on the door I stood up walked to the door and opened it. It was carter he smirked at me and said good afternoon grace I believe we have a date today I said yea so he said why so grumpy I said I'm not grumpy I'm just tired he said tired? did you just wake up or something I said yes I did a few minutes ago he chuckled and why I said because I went to sleep late last night he walked in and said well grace I cant have you falling asleep on our date tonight so come he picked me up bridal style and went upstairs to my room he laid me on my bed he took off his shirt and shoes and laid next to me and put the blankets on my bed over us he wrapped his arms and said goodnight princess he kissed my cheek I smiled at him and said you what will help me sleep he said no what? I said if I tell you will you do it he said um sure why not I said ok I want you to sing and then ill fall asleep he said I cant sing so um sorry no I said yes you can I've heard you sing in those videos you have an amazing voice. he didn't say anything I sighed and said no matter how hard you try you cant just make your past disappear. he said I know I cant make it disappear but I can hide it and make sure I never het hurt again I sighed and so did he I started falling asleep before I completely knocked out I heard carter say if only you knew princess. 

*****later that day***** 

I woke up I was still in carters arms I got out of his grip and checked what time it was it was 8:30pm I went in the bathroom in the guest room and took a shower I got out of the shower and brushed my hair I dried it and I put it in a messy bun it look pretty good I looked around the bathroom for my clothes and then I realized I had forgotten to bring clothes and the only place I could get it was my room but carters sleeping in there if he woke up and I was only in a towel it would be so awkward and his dirty mind would probably say something dirty to me but I cant stay in here I walked out the guest room and went in my room please be asleep please be asleep I quietly walked to my dresser and took out red lace panties and a matching bra I felt carter muscular arms around my waist he kissed my neck and said you know reds my favorite color my cheeks were extremely red right now he gently kissed my neck and said you should put on some clothes before I f-uck the shit out of you goose bumps took over my body I was so embarrassed mad and I kind of wanted carter to kiss me I got out of his grip and I went in the bathroom in my room and put on the panties and bra I mentally slapped myself when I realized I had hadn't brought any clothes except the bra and panties hopefully carter isn't in my room anymore I wrapped the towel around my body I didn't want carter to see me in just my panties and bra it would be so embarrassing I would die I opened the door and walked in my room carter was sitting on my bed sweetly smiling at me I looked at him and said get out of my room he said why would I want to do that I said because I need to put on some clothes he said ok go ahead you change and I enjoy the view I groaned annoyed and said perver! under my breath he chuckled and said only for you baby I rolled my eyes and walked to my closet I was looking through my clothes for a shirt and all of a sudden my towel fell down I was about to grab it put carter grabbed it before me he looked at my body up and down I he bit his lip and I tried covering my body threw the towel across the room he grabbed me and pulled me towards him and said don't hide your body princess its beautiful he kissed me and I kissed him back he slipped his tongue in my mouth and began exploring it he moved his hands were on my bare waist and my arms were around his neck he moved his hands down to my bu^t and gently grabbed it we fell onto the bed he was on top of me I stopped the kiss and said I should get ready for our date he said um yea we should he stood up and left as much as I like carter I know I shouldn’t I don’t want to get hurt again and I know that if me and carter ever went out I would end up hurt I stood up and put on a dress and some sandals I put on some makeup and let my hair out I curled it a little I grabbed my phone and checked what time it was. it was 9:38pm there was a knock in the door I went downstairs and opened it carter smirked at me and said you look gorgeous I blushed a little and I said thanks and you don't look so bad yourself he chuckled and said ready to go I nodded he took my hand and walked me to his car he opened the door and I went in he closed it and walked around the car to get in the driver seat he got in and we drove off I asked where we were going and he said you'll find out when we get there I rolled my eyes and said really I could have never figured that out he chuckled and said your so cute that made fireworks go off in my stomach he said ok were here he parked the car and said wait here he got out the car and closed the door he walked to my door opened it and took my hand he closed the door and locked the car he was holding my hand we walked down the parking lot and entered a fair it look beautiful there was colorful lights everywhere. carter paid for our entrance and we walked to a ticket both he got 100 tickets he put his arm around my waist and held the tickets in his other hand we walked to the high striker game and carter said I'm a pro at this game I chuckled and said please id be surprised if you could pick up the hammer he said watch me he gave the man who was running the game a ticket the man gave him the hammer carter grabbed it and hit the bell the thing went straight up all the way to the top carter put the hammer down and said I told you the man said you can pick a prize from the top carter picked a big pink brown teddy bear with a pink shirt that said winner on it the man gave it to him carter thanked him. carter gave me the teddy bear and said its for you princess I chuckled and said thank you we went to a basketball game you had to get the ball in the basket three times and you got a superhero cape carter and me both played it surprisingly I made it and I picked a pink superman cape and carter picked a blue superman cape he put it on and so did I carter took my hand and said lets go on the fireball I said um no I'm trying to live a couple more years but thanks for the offer he chuckled and said come on it will be fun I said no its not he laughed and said please don't tell me you've never been on a roller coaster before I didn't say anything he said your 17 years old and you've never been on a roller coaster I said I've been on a Ferris wheel does that count he said no that doesn't count. I said well than I've never been on a roller coaster I swear carter almost passed out he said come on me and you are getting on the fireball lets go I said no I'm not that thing looks scary he said come on I'm going to be with you I said still I'm not getting on you can get on it yourself he said come on its going to be fun I said fine he put his arm around my waist and said lets go we walked to where the fireball was carter gave the lady running the fireball two tickets and we got on we waited a few minutes for more people to get I had a knot in my stomach carter took my hand and interlocked our fingers he smiled at me oh that smile that perfect sexy smile of his if looks could kill id be dead by now carter said just relax its going to be fun I promise I gave him a weak smile the lady said ok guys I'm going to turn on the ride in 10 seconds starting now a countdown started over the inter come I felt like I was going to pass out carter tightened his grip on my hand the ride started swinging up and down swinging left to right turning and swinging it was actually fun carter and I were screaming our lungs out and so was everyone else not once did carter let go of my hand or loosen his grip the ride stopped and we got off carter helped me off and we went to a ring toss game I really hate the ring toss game because I always lose but to carter it was a piece of cake he won the man that was in charge of the game was really surprised he said wow um you can get one from the top carter got another teddy bear and gave it to me as well I chuckled and thanked him carter smiled at me and said you hungry I said no not really what about you he said I'm carter I'm always hungry lets go get a funnel cake and something to drink I said um ok we walked to a food stand near us and ordered a funnel cake while they were waiting for the funnel cake carter said do you want me to go leave the teddy bears in the car so that you don't have to be walking around with them I said um sure I handed them to him and he said ill be right back he left and I just stood there waiting for him and the funnel cake I felt someone tap my shoulder I turned around and it a guy he had blonde hair blue eyes he was really muscular he smiled at me and said sorry to bother you but I saw you here all alone and I thought how could a beautiful girl be here all by herself so I came to accompany you I said that's sweet but I'm here with someone he said well I don't see them here my names Samuel what's yours I said he went to leave something in the car and grace now leave he said what idiot would leave such a pretty girl all by herself before I could answer carter interrupted me and said I would Samuel said and you are? carter said her boyfriend so beat it before I beat you carter said he was my boyfriend that had fireworks bears tigers lions sharks whales monkeys hippos dogs cats and butterfly's running around in my stomach Samuel laughed and said id like to see you try I could tell carter was about to lose it I took his hand and said carter lets go come on he looked at me and said ok Samuel said grace darling wouldn't you rather date a guy like me I laughed and said no he walked away clearly pissed off me and carter started laughing carter got our funnel cake and we walked around the fair eating the funnel cake carter was feeding it to me anyone would think that we were actually a couple we played different games and went on different rides until we finished the rest of the tickets. once we finished all the tickets we went back to carters car he had his arm around my waist he opened the door for me and I got in and he closed the door he went to the driver seat and got in he turned the engine on and drove off we got to his house he parked the car and we got out his car and went in his house we walked in the living room and sat down he turned the TV on and put family guy on carter put his arms around me out of nowhere he lift my chin up and kissed me as much as I knew I shouldn’t kiss him I couldn’t control myself I kissed him back I pulled away and he said why did you stop I said because this isn't right that’s why he said why if you like me and I like you or are you going to deny the fact that you like me I said no I'm not because I do like you a lot actually but I don’t want to get hurt again and I just know that your going to hurt me he said no I'm not I said yes you are the night my dad died I saw you kick that girl out of your house I heard everything you told her and I don’t want to be that girl I stood up and said now um I should go he didn’t say anything I walked out his house and walked to my house I walked in and went up to my room I took my shoes and dress off and put on some pajamas I laid in my bed and started thinking I felt this empty feeling in my stomach I felt like I had a knot in my throat I'm glad I said no but at the same time I regret I mean what if carter actually likes me I feel like a stupid bitch now. I chuckled a little and said oh carter what have you done to me. 

 *****carters pov***** 

I felt really bad she admitted she liked me but she's scared I'm going to hurt her but I wouldn’t hurt her I honestly like her she Alex walked in and said hey how was your date I said good Alex said then why do you look so bored and depressed I sighed and said we were kissing and she stopped and I asked her why she had stopped if she knew I liked her and she likes me and she said she didn’t want to get hurt again and that she new I would hurt her and that she saw me kick out some bitch out of my house the night her dad died and she doesn’t want that to happen to her Alex said well she's right I mean don’t forget you and Robert are still doing the bet even though obviously you won don’t just tell her you like her show her I said but how he said that’s for you to figure out he stood up and left to his house I sat on the sofa thinking about grace and what I could do to prove to her that I like her and then it hit me I ran up to my room I closed the door and locked it I walked to the windows in my room and covered them with the curtains I opened my closet and walked all the way to the back I got the guitar case and a notebook I sat on the floor and took out the guitar I placed my fingers on the strings I haven't touched this thing in years. I smiled and said oh grace what have you done to me.
