One week later.
One singular week later was all it took for Jimin and Jungkook to be back on good terms.
After all, they were very good friends.
However, it had also only taken one week for Jimin to announce to Taehyung and Jungkook that the orange haired boy was officially dating Min Yoongi.
Jungkook's heart dropped when he heard the news, but he put on a fake smile. He acted happy for the couple, hoping maybe there was still the slightest chance for himself; but he could tell deep down somewhere that Jimin was in love with Yoongi.
Normally, Jungkook wouldn't have a problem with this arrangement.
But this time there were three large, blaring factors that possessed a mass contribution to Jungkook's hatred of the couple.
1. The fact that he had recently realized his love for the orange haired boy.
2. This boy in question was now desperately in love with the boy who attempted to rape him.
And lastly, which got on Jungkook's nerves the most.
3. Yoongi was now always hanging out with them.
Jungkook finds it rather difficult to remain calm when Yoongi is around.
Or rather, Yoongi's arm is around Jimin's waist.
Now, the trio + Yoongi sit around the table in Jimin and Jungkook's shared apartment as Jimin leans into his boyfriend's touch. They exchange pleasant conversation about work and other adult things.
Suddenly Yoongi moves away from Jimin, and his eyes focus on his phone. "That's Hoseok." He says, getting up. Jimin nods slowly. "I have to take this, okay Chim?" He looks to Jimin for reassurance and Jimin nods once more. Yoongi places a kiss upon Jimin's lips before walking out of the room.
Jungkook's gaze wanders to Jimin. "Who's Hoseok?" Taehyung asks the question hanging in the air. Jimin is the one to answer.
"Yoongi's best friend." He says simply, not elaborating. Jungkook hums And Taehyung shrugs.
The trio sit in silence for a moment and Jungkook can't help but feel anxious. Who is Hoseok? What if Yoongi is cheating on Jimin?
Jungkook knows he shouldn't be thinking these things but he can't help but stand, stating that he's going to the washroom. The other boys nod in response.
