Part 135
My legs swing next to Ben, his little legs pumping to keep himself going. Harry's behind me, pushing me as Ben sings Free Fallin' for us. His cute little voice is so beautiful; his lips the exact same pink as Harry's.
"Mommy, do you and Daddy love each other?" he asks, Harry trying to teach him to respect girls.
"Yes. We love each other very much."
He smiles up at Harry and Harry winks at him, causing his laugh to ring through my ears.
"When do my brothers come?" he asks, my lips smiling.
"Not for a long time baby. And they might not even be boys. They could be girls too," I say, his eyes widening.
"Sisters?" he asks, my head nodding.
"You might have sisters," Harry tells him, Ben's lips curving into a smile.
"What happens if there is one boy and one girl?" he asks, Harry stopping my swing.
"Then you'll have a brother and a sister. Two babies at once means twins Ben," I tell him, Harry wrapping his arms around me, my head leaning against his chest.
"I'm excited. Do they hurt you?" Ben asks, my head shaking.
"No baby, they don't hurt. But you can feel them when they develop more. They lightly kick the inside of my stomach," I tell him, Harry kissing the top of my head.
"It's really cool Ben. You used to kick Mommy a lot," Harry says, Ben laughing.
"I'm sorry Mommy," he says, my feet moving to kiss the top of his head.
"It's okay Ben," I smile, thankful for my well behaved boy. He starts slowing down and I watch as he jumps off the swing, my feet jolting up. He stands from where he landed and smiles at me, Harry telling me to calm down. I sigh and Ben runs to the playground, my hand grabbing Harry's.
"Why the hell did you teach him that?" I grit at Harry, his laugh ringing through my ears. He pulls me into him and kisses the top of my head.
"We were bored and I showed him. He tried and landed it. It was awesome," he says, my hand swatting his chest.
We watch Ben play as we sit on the bench, his smile so bright. We laugh when Ben studies the monkey bars, wondering how to do them. Harry stands and walks over to him, lifting him up. He carries him across and Ben smiles, hugging Harry. Ben tries to do it again by himself, making it across two bars before Harry catches him. They cheer and Ben runs towards me, hugging me tightly.
"Mommy did you see me?" he asks, my head nodding. He hugs me again and he runs back over to the monkey bars, Harry smiling over at me. I smile and they go back onto the playground, Ben's determination written clearly across his features.
Harry helps Ben get across the bars, then Ben trying it again. He finally gets across almost an hour later, all of us cheering. Harry lifts Ben up and puts him on his shoulders, my hand high fiving my blue eyed boy. We start walking towards Harry's car, Ben suddenly clapping.
"Daddy, can we go there for lunch?" Ben asks, pointing to the little diner across the street. Harry looks at me and I nod, Ben cheering. Harry grabs my hand and we walk across the street and into the restaurant.
"Ben what do you want?" Harry asks, Ben pointing to one of the pictures. Harry orders Ben a hot dog and I order a double cheeseburger, Harry laughing. I take Ben as he orders and we sit down, Ben playing with my hair.
"Can you teach me how to do that twisty hair?" he asks, referring to the braid.
"Sure baby. We can use Daddy's hair." He laughs and I set him in the booth, his fingers grabbing the crayons. He starts to draw in the pages of the coloring book at the table and Harry comes towards us with the food. He sets the tray down and sits next to Ben, his eyes looking at me.
