The rain was like bullets raining from the heavens. Thunder cackled in the distance, yet Eve sat on her porch swing clutching a toasty cup of tea. The morning papers at by her side. She had neglected to read it when she had found it on her lawn that morning. She hadn't even bothered to look at it when she set down on the swing. She took a quick glance at it and picked out a very familiar name, Lawrence Grove. "What on earth could that bafoon have done to get himself in the news paper?" She pondered. She picked up the news paper expecting the article to be about how much of a fool he was in the archeological field, but to her surprise it was not about that, but a large find he had made in the Australian outback. "Dr.Grove is an archeologist who recently made possibly the largest discovery of his career, an ancient tomb in the remote Australian outback.  There were many relics but among them was a very frail and old map with strange symbols on it. Dr. Grove believes it leads to the mysterious and mythical city of lemuria." She put the paper down. "I wonder..." She thought to her self as she tucked the paper under her arm and walked briskly inside her cottage. The warmth hit her like a tidal wave rushing past her and surrounded her completely. She had once been an archeologist like Lawrence. She and him were co-workers while she was still in that field. Most of the others didn't notice her absence but it damaged Lawrence that she was giving up on Lemuria.  She snapped violently out of the dream. She very quickly realized she was now upstairs standing in her bedroom door. She set down the newspaper on her vanity and changed into her night wear. She sat down to read for a little bit before going to bed but sleep caught up with her just in time. She fell asleep to the soft pitter patter of rain against the glass panes of her window. The next morning she felt as if she was half-asleep still. She could feel the radiant warmth of the sun on her. She turned her head and was blinded by the bright light. Instinctively she raised her hands and got up grabbing her bed frame to help her balance . She walked to her vanity in the corner of her room and sat down to do her long black hair. She quietly brushed out all the knots and silence enclosed her. She got dressed in jeans and a t-shirt an was on her way to her enormous gardens. Just before she was able to walk out her back door, the ding of her door bell called her. She turned around and walked towards the front door wondering who it possibly could be at this early hour. "Who is it? She called whilst opening the door. To her surprise it was aria standing with a passed out Lawrence in her arms. " Hello eve, may I come in?".
