"Wanna get outta here?" Asked the tall boy. This is the first time ever seeing him but i needed some air. "sure" i replied. I stood up still slightly dizzy and nauseous but way better than than before.

I slowly walked down the wooden stairs getting pushed by drunk teenagers and stumbled out the door. I found a spot on the sidewalk beside the mysterious boy who came out with me and sat down.

"whats your name?" he asked, "stephanie" i replied looking down so he wouldn't see my tear stained face. "I'm Ashton just incase you were wondering", he spoke.

I just wanted go home and cry some more, my face hurts, i look like a mess and i can't think properly.

I suddenly felt someone pulling a hoodie over my head. "you looked cold" ashton said slightly smiling. He had one of those smiles that was contagious and helped show his cute dimples. "thanks" I quietly said but he probably couldn't hear me beacuse of the noise coming from the house.

"I know you haven't know me for very long but you can talk to me about why you were crying, if you wan't" His voice sounded kind and soft. "Its fine, just boyfriend problems," I spoke "who's this boyfriend of yours?" He asked "Uhh his name is Calum" I almost choked as i said his name. "Wait, you're Calums girl!" "why would you date that idiot," He said sounding suprised. "I ask myself that all the time," I spoke up.

"He doesn't deserve someone like you," Ashton said. "Someone like me?" I spoke. "Ya a beautiful girl like you doesn't deserve a guy who sleeps around with different girls every week and gets drunk every chance he gets." His words made me blush and smile a little which i haven't done in a while.

"I should get home" He finally said "I'll drive you" ashton said. "no it's fine" i replied "but i want to" he demanded. I tossed him my keys and before i knew it we were leaving.

The window was slightly cracked open and the cool air felt nice on my face. "if you don't mind me asking, Why is one side of your face look like you got hit?" He asked softly. I couldn't tell him what Calum did to me, I didn't want to seem like i needed help or anything. "I uh ran into a door" I know it sounded bad but i couldn't think of anything else to say.

"Did Calum hit you steph?" He asked, while the breeze from outside made his slightly curly hair move. "It was an accident he was drunk," I spit out. "that doesn't give him the right to hit you, Why do you stay with him?" "Because one day i hope that maybe he will love me again like he used to." I spoke up.

The rest of the drive was quiet but not an awkward qiuet, more of tired kinda quiet. We pulled up to my average sized house and got out of my car.

"Ashton how are you gonna get home?"
I then realized. "i'll walk it'll only take me maybe 20 minutes. "Its freezing out i can't let you walk" I replied. "you can stay here and i'll drive you back in the morning." "Are you sure?" He asked, "yes now come inside," I insisted.

I lived alone now that i was 19 and had a job so i didn't have to worry about my family. "Is the couch okay?" i asked him. "ya it's great" he responded before pulling me into a tight hug and resting his chin on my head. I didn't want to let go i just kept holding on to him, Ashton Irwin made me feel special and happy and i haven't felt that way in a long time.

"Goodnight Stephanie," he whispered as I let go of him and headed to my room down the hall.
