42 - Punching Bag

Park Jimin pressed the replay button again. He couldn't get enough of seeing Iza playing the piano. It always made him remember the first time he saw her at the restaurant.

Big thanks to his friend, Kim Taehyung. He sincerely asked Byun Baekhyun to record Iza's performance.

Jimin:
   "She is so cute :)"

Then the door suddenly opened. It was Soojung with her very grumpy face entering the the gym.

Soojung:
   "I don't want to leave."

She meant going to England.

Jimin placed his phone on the bench and grabbed his boxing gloves. Then he started hitting the punching bag again.

It's how he release his frustrations in life.

Soojung:
    "I bumped into your friend, Kim Taehyung at the café the other day."

Jimin stopped for a while. He was wondering whether Soojung saw Iza too.

Soojung:
   "He was with your friend, Jeon Jungkook."

Jimin continued to blow punches on the bag.

Soojung:
   "I'm actually getting used to being ignored by you. So you wouldn't mind if I watch the video of Iza, right? You kept on replaying it on your phone. It's so annoying how you don't want me to watch it too."

She looked at Jimin who looked so uninterested by her. Then she grabbed his phone and watched the video. She wondered why Jimin didn't bother to stop her.

Soojung:
   "Aren't you going to stop me?"

Jimin just looked at her and continued what he was doing.

Soojung clapped her hands after Iza's video footage.

Soojung:
   "Daebak! I suddenly want her to play for our wedding."

Then Jimin immediately removed his boxing gloves and grabbed his phone from Soojung.

Soojung:
   "You take things too seriously. Can I not crack a good joke for ones?"

Jimin knitted his eyebrows. It wasn't a good joke for him.

Soojung:
   "Do you think she'd mind if I watch her practicing wushu or achery? I wanna cheer for her."

Jimin nodded. Of course she would mind!

Soojung:
   "It's either she'd slice me or shoot me. She's so scary but I really like her."

Jimik smirked. Agree! She's so scary but he liked her a lot.

Soojung:
   "Hmm - I'll just secretly watch her. And I'll make sure to take a video so I could give it to you."

Jimin looked at Soojung. He knew she wouldn't do it without a bargain.

Jimin:
   "What do you want in return?"

Soojung giggled.

Soojung:
   "Hmmmm you really know."

She was blushing all of a sudden.

Soojung:
   "Well, this isn't really hard for me to say. You listen to my frustrations of my brother and father. And also to your dad. Sorry to tell you about that. But I don't really like being married to you. So -- "

Jimin crossed his arms and sighed. Then he interrupted her.

Jimin:
   "Me neither. Just tell me what do you want."

Soojung cupped her cheeks and giggled.

Soojung:
   "Well - "

By the look of Soojung's smile, Jimin already know what she wanted. Or maybe who.

He smirked while as he walked towards the gym's door.

Jimin:
   "I'll invite Taehyungie for dinner tomorrow."

Soojung stood and ran after Jimin. Then she blocked his way to stop him.

Soojung:
   "Really?????"

Jimin smiled while nodding.

Soojung:
   "Ahhhhh! I owe you my life!"

She hugged Park Jimin and left him immediately.

Jimin smirked. When she's alone with him, she's free to express herself. She was like an annoying sister or friend. But whenever other people were present, she would be prim and proper.

While walking at the gym's lobby, he met AG along the way.

Jimin:
   "Ohh, I'm inviting Taehyungie for dinner tomorrow with Soojung. You should join us."

AG stood straight while glaring at the heir.

AG:
   "Do you want me to invite Miss Jeon Iza?"

Jimin faked a smile.

AG wasn't the right person to mess up with.

Jimin really liked to tease her with Taehyung. His friends was unaware that AG was a woman and not some Ahjussi.

Jimin:
   "Stop wearing that uniform everytime you're at work. Why don't you wear clothes that will make you look like a full grown woman?"

AG crossed her arms and intensified the glares she was giving to the heir.

AG:
   "This all black coat and pants saved your assss for so many times. I'm afraid I couldn't help you in my pink dress and make up."

Then she left him while laughing. She just left the heir just like that.

Jimin:
   "If Taehyungie finds out that he's been texting not an old man but her kind, for sure he'd throw his phone away."

AG was still a few steps away from him.

AG:
    "I could still hear you, Heir!"

Kim Taehyung and AG would sometimes exchange text messages. Taehyung thought AG was an old man who helped Jimin through the Code A.
He called her Ahjussi after mishearing Jimin calling her
AG-ssi.
