Fairy Tail High (Natsu x Bullied! Reader)

A Reason

Natsu stood up abruptly, the force of him pushing up making your bed shake.

"What's wrong with you! I thought you were past this! Do you know how worried I was?!" He yelled angrily

You just stared at him with a neutral expression.

"Well maybe you should stop worrying. If someone wants to die people should just let that person die." You said grimly

"NO! Your life is valuable! How could you be so selfish and think that you should die!"

"How is me wanting to die selfish! If anything I think your being selfish by thinking everyone should live their life the way you think they should!" You yelled back

He sat back down and sighed heavily, suddenly looking very tired.

"Maybe your right but you should at least try, I know it's bad and your suffering and it's cliche but it gets better, everything heals with time."

You huffed, "what website did you read that off of?"

He jolted a bit, " that wasn't from a website"

"Wow you actually made that up, I'm impressed" you said dully

"I can make something up whenever I want!" He said defensively

"Whatever, my mind still isn't changed, there's no reason this life should be saved." You grumbled

"Don't you have someone you love? Wouldn't that person be enough to make you want to live?" He asked

You thought for a moment. You then shook your head.

"The only people I love are gone, or just don't seem to care enough to see me." You said, eyes locked on your hands.

"Y/n," your hand was grabbed, "don't kill yourself."

You were silent before you hummed your agreement.

"Noie!" You looked around your room before running into your living room.

"Noie! Where are you?" You looked under the couch and were about to look behind your tv when a soft meow  behind you made you look around.

You kitten was sitting behind you and when you looked at him he got up and walked up to you.

You smiled and bent down to scratch behind his soft ears. He purred and you picked him up, heading for the kitchen.

"It's dinner time." You said to the grey kitten.

You had found Noie on your way home from work, it was raining and your heart ached at the sight of the poor thing shivering and dirty.

You set Noie down by his bowl and watched as he licked at it before taking bites of the soft, wet food.

You went to your fridge and got (food)  when you closed the door a paper on the front of it caught your attention.

Tomorrow was your last day, you had been kicked out of school but tomorrow you had to return.

You grimaced before turning away to go eat your food. It had been so easy to just stay home all day then work later with the occasional visit from Natsu who was making sure you weren't dead.

Noie licked his lips then walked over to you. You picked off a piece of your food and held it out as he stretched up to grab it in his jaws and eat it.

"Hm, I guess I finally have someone to live for." You murmured, petting the top of Noie's soft kitten head.
