Chapter Ten - Him

He was running a bit late but as an owner and a boss, he can come as late and as early as he wanted to. He saw a short line once he arrived at the coffeeshop and he did not see her around. He wanted to see her. No,he needed to see her. Once he reached the counter he said,"I want the bubbly smiley lady that always on this counter to serve me or else I just go without ordering anything". Her colleague said to wait for a minute and she'll get her for him. Within few minutes,she appeared from the back door which is clearly where the kitchen is and stopped her tracks when she saw him. Then with her usual self she said hi and waved to the customers that dined in.

He was about to place his order the second she was behind the counter but she cut him by asking what he would like to order. He mentally smiled and answered the usual,the usual side order and he wanted to dine in. He knew that she knew what he wanted and he just looked at her,really looked at her while she pressed the cash register and he knew he has affected her by seeing her blushed face. Again he just paid without taking the change. Then she said she'll serve his order once she finished making them.

Now to find a seat. He scanned the place a immediately saw a spot to his liking. He walked towards the seating and just sit while waiting to be served. He loved the ambience of this particular seating. It reminds him of some place that truly held dear in his heart.

A few minutes later,she came with his order and bombarded him a question asking why he chosed the seating from all of the seats available. The seat was so comfortable,as comfy as the seat at his Nana's home. He was sad thinking about his Nana. He knew his sad expression were on display and he quickly changed back to his serious face. He saw that she crossed her arms then. She was so cute when she's angry,he thought. He didn't say a word because he wanted to get her attention. He felt that she's about to go after taking the tray when suddenly he said the seating seems like the most comfortable and peaceful thats why he chose it. She then said the seat is off limits to customers and informed him that it is her boss's workspace. He then said back the seat was not labelled and that her boss was not around and he added why not. She then said with a hint of warning in her voice that the next time he is here,the seating is off limits and he needs to sit elsewhere as well as saying thank you and to enjoy his day. She never cease to surprised him. Regardless of giving him a warning,she never fail to show her manners. And he likes that so much. A little bit too much. But he just shrugged it off and clearly she was annoyed with him. He mentally smiled to himself and just watched her go. Her body language said that she was so frustrated but she kept her cool when she saw her other dined-in customers. She never fail to amazed him. And it made him want to know her more. So much more behind those bubbly persona.
