When Friday rolls around I'm beyond ready for the weekend. It's sad because I only went to school for a half of a week and I'm already over it.
Yesterday was a little better than Wednesday, in the sense that nobody was almost run over, and I didn't wack anybody in the head with a door. So that's always a plus.
But I didn't make it a point to talk to really anyone in any of my classes unless they talked to me.
My first period class, Mr. Jensons class, was the only period that nobody tried to talk to me. I was okay with that though, less awkward conversation for me to muster.
Second period, physics, I made friends with a girl named Claire. She was assigned my lab partner and she is really sweet and quiet. I'm guessing she's not very popular since whenever I see her she is always alone. But I like her. She doesn't seem like a regular annoying dramafied high school girl whose main goal in life is to have more Instagram followers than anyone else. She was much more down to earth.
I had third period, precalculus, with Hayley. She was also nice but a little too hyper. She was like Alysa in that way, so it's not hard to see why they are best friends.
And then I have lunch right after precalc. I do my best to be apart of the conversation among the table of baseball players as well as Serena and her friends.
I walk into Mr. Jensons class and as I approach my seat, I notice someone has already taken it. A boy with dark brown hair and a black hoodie stares down at his phone. I don't think he's been in this class for the past two days that I've been here, but I don't make any move to ask for my seat back. Instead I just sit behind him.
The jockey boy who I usually sit behind sits in his seat, turning around to talk to the "new" boy behind him.
"So Drew, did you have fun on your vacation?" The boy snorts.
"Sure did. Now turn back around before I break your jaw too." Drew snaps through clenched teeth.
I furrow my eyebrows and play with the bracelet around my wrist. Twisting the tiara charm my mom got my for my 10th birthday.
"Hey, there is no need to get defensive. I was just asking you a simple question."
"And I was just giving you a simple answer, Clayton. Now if you don't mind, I've got some work to catch up on thanks to you and your hick friends." Drew grumbles, reaching under the desk for the text book.
"Don't even blame us for your suspension Andrew, you are the one who started throwing punches." Clayton starts to turn around but stops and turns back, resting his hand on Drew's desk. "Oh and by the way, Olivia sends her apologies, from the hospital, where she is, with Hunter." He smirks.
Suddenly Andrew slams the thick textbook down on Clayton's fingers causing him to yell out in pain.
The chatty class now looks entirely in our direction.
"Like I said Clayton, turn the fuck around," Drew says calmly. Clayton does what he's told and quickly turns forward.
"Damn Drew, calm down your scaring the new girl." Another boy says from across the room. Drew must look confused because the boy then references to behind him.
Drew turns around and his hazel eyes meet mine.
He studies me for a quick second.
"My apologies." He says, turning forward once more.

The day flies by pretty fast after Mr. Jensons class. He is the only one who assigned homework for the weekend. I could already tell I wasn't going to like him.
