I entered the classroom as soon as the bell stopped ringing. English. Silence. Eyes. Everywhere. All staring right at me.
Should I say something?
Then almost immediately, a stout woman with a brunette bob approached and whispered to me, 'You must be Miss Manning, welcome to Riverside High's English lessons starring me-your awesome teacher for the year Ms Combrey,' and spoke to the class in a rather threatening manner, 'be nice! Now why don't you take a seat next to Justin over there in the middle row. Justin can show you the ropes.'
I looked over among all the strange faces to see the most gorgeous boy I had ever seen. His dazzling baby brown eyes glistened at me: his swift dirty blonde hair swept to the right, his perfect features, perfect nose and perfect body.
'Ha, creepy much!' I heard someone among the crowd of staring students.
Oh no, I stared. My cheeks went bright red as I scurried to the seat. But who could blame me for staring? He was an absolute angel!
'Ok everyone, enough of that, now would anyone like to read the the first extract from page 173 for me please?
Take notes.'Straight away, I got my books out to find I had forgotten a pen! I briskly searched through everywhere in panic. This first day was just WONDERFUL. I was overwhelmed in pure panic.
'You can borrow mine if you want, I have a bunch anyway.'
It was him, Justin.
'I...I..thanks..but..I...well...I..'
He smirked the most hypnotising smirk, giving me the tiniest view of his pearl white teeth, 'If you're lucky, you might lose it and that'll just give me more of an excuse to talk to you.'
He handed me the pen and after that everything was a blur.
