The mysterious one

Justin. Justin, Justin, Justin. He was all I could think about. Through English, Maths, Science, Computing, all I could think about was Justin. The way his eyes illuminated my heart. His voice infecting me with this sick disease of love. I'd never experienced love before but it sure was time-consuming. It had taken over all my thoughts. Sitting here in the cafeteria alone: all I saw was Justin. Laughing, smiling, eati-
"Anyone sitting here?'
I looked up to see a tall, skinny, pretty girl with long black hair smiling down at me as she began to sit down.
'Well, if you were gonna sit down anyway, why did you ask?' I said quite agitated at the fact that my stalking session had been interrupted.
'I mean it didn't look like anyone was sitting here so I'm guessing you're not exactly Miss Popular, huh? she replied with a grin. Just smile and nod Hailey, just smile and nod. There was an awkward silence...
'But anyways, hi nice to meet you. I'm Catherine and I'm your student buddy! You can call me 'Cath' tho.'

'Are you kidding me?! A student buddy?! What is this, nursery?!' I shouted in rage.

'Don't look at it...like that, look at it as two friends hanging out through school hours. Cool, right? I mean, you get to hang out with me everyday,' she went down to a whisper 'and I kind of have to; headmistress's orders.'
Sounded a lot more like a play date.
'So anyway, seeing as it is my duty as your student buddy, I have taken it upon myself to list the top 5 rules you must absolutely follow in order to make your high school life not, totally sad. It's quite nice of me to be honest. So, Number 1. Don't get involved with ANY groups: unless they're the jocks or the cheerleaders, then you're all good-

*so much for no school stereotypes huh*

Number 2. Don't put your hand up more than once in each lesson otherwise you're really just showing off. Number 3. Don't wear pink on a Thursday, it's disrespectful. Number 4. Don't get involved in any couple drama; it's the worst. And number 5, DO NOT get involved with Christian in any way.'

'Who's Christian?'
She nodded at the boy from earlier today who knocked my books over.

'Him?! What's so bad about him?'

'He's a psycho. Apparently he murdered his parents when he was 11. He also runs a joint after school where he sells really dodgy stuff, but you don't wanna get involved, it's messed up, and since his parents died, he's been living with his little brother. That poor child. I don't know how he got into this school but you do not want to get involved with Christian. Last girl to do so got sent off to this random asylum in Russia- he broke her heart.'

I stared at him as I took this all in. It was hard to believe that someone could go through all that pain. He honestly looked tired and worn-down. His young soul had been exchanged for something much darker. He looked over at me. Funnily enough, I didn't stop staring back. I felt like I was staring into his soul. And all I could see was pain.

'So if there's anything else you need, feel free to ask.' Judith said, interrupting me... again.

'Well, there's this guy-'

'Oh my gosh, who?!' she interrupted once again.
As I opened my mouth to reply, Justin reappeared into my view of sight. He was walking in this direction. Oh my gosh, I think he was walking right to us. I felt like I was in one of those movies where the hot guy runs in slow motion and I was that awkward person just staring. He looked so good.
'Hey babe, you ready to go?'. Wait. Babe?!

Then to my horror Catherine got up and sprinted into his arms. They stood right in front of me, passionately embracing one another. Then she moved in. No. Please don't. He moved in. No. No. No.

They kissed.

I think I died.
