CHAPTER 19: I WANNA BE WITH YOU

SCARLETTS POV:

The sun felt warm on my bare back. The cold touch of my fingers on his warm skin. I looked up at him, smiling. He pushed the hair away from my eyes and placed it behind my ears. What he said after that, changed everything.

“Meet my parents.” In his sexy morning voice.

“Are you sure?” I said, staring into his eyes. Today they were more green than blue. Awe man, If I met Nialls family I would be so nervous.

“Yes, i’m sure. You are the only girl I would want to bring home to my mother.” Oh my gosh..

“When, Niall?” I asked hoping it wasn’t soon, but my hopes sank when he said “Today.”

“But Niall, Your mom lives all the way in Ireland. We can’t just hop on a flight to go see her and come back.” He looked at me and laughed.“Yeah we can, We do have a private plane Scar. It cost nothing for us.” 

Today i’m going to meet his mom. I feel my stomach twisting just thinking of it. 

We got dressed, took our showers, and went for breakfast. Shane was in our kitchen cooking up some food for himself. “Shane, I’m going to Ireland today.” He was shocked. Then he put on a mischevious smile. “Going to meet his rents, huh?” I smiled at him. I knew what he was thinking. I could just hear it in my mind. 

Niall went in the other room to make a few calls about us leaving when he came rushing back. “Love, i’m sorry we have to leave right now. Or we can’t go. So we’ll eat some food on the plane instead. I’ll get your bag!” He ran into the bedroom. I guess it was urgent we got there. I hugged Shane goodbye and told him i’ll be back. He kissed me on the cheek, he normally never does that. Maybe he could sense my nerves. 

Paul was in the hall waiting for us, he had a car waiting at the front of the hotel. Yay, fans. 

There weren’t as many today which made it easy. But there were a few rude comments.. but I shrugged them off. 

We got the the airport and boarded the plane. It was nice being really alone with Niall. Just me, him, and the big wide open sky. Nobody taking our pictures, no body looking at us like we are fish in a fish bowl. Just us, and i’m very okay with that. 

It took us many hours to get there so we decided to sleep. I haven’t had the greatest nights lately.. and obviously neither has Niall. His head was rested on mine and he started snoring. I just hope he doesn’t drool on me like that pillow..

I woke up to Niall nudging me. “We’re here.”He said in a whisper. I saw my reflection in the mirror across the plane, my hair looked horrible! Paul was staying in the plane while we were out and about Mullingar. I can’t believe i’m actually here! In a different country! I’ve never been outside of the states. I’m just glad I get to experience it with Niall.

We stopped at a shop to get some snacks. I saw snacks I didn’t recognize like, Tayto’s or Hunky Dorys. Very strange, but I just got whatever. Niall payed for it, but as we walked out his face suddenly changed and his pace started to speed up like he saw a ghost. 

“Hey Niall!” A high pitched voice called from across the street. It was a girl, looked similar to me but was way more featured than me. Bigger bum, bigger bust. Beautiful cheek bones.. 

“How are you? Haven’t seen you in a while!” Her brown eyes looked like they were going to bug out of her sockets.

“I’m good, Grace. But we really must be going.” He said with a smile. We walked away without goodbyes or anything. Somethings up, i’ll ask him later. 

We walked down a road, beautiful actually. Everyone’s lawns were cut perfectly, flowers were overflowing onto the streets. I’ve never seen such a beautiful neighborhood. He suddenly stopped and smiled. 

“Here’s home!” You could see how genuine his smile was. Just talking about home made his eyes glow, like it was the best place on earth. 

The front door swung open fast and what looked like his mother was standing there. She was pretty. 

He ran, throwing his arms around her. She laughed and looked at me. “Oh, Niall I knew you would bring a pretty girl like this home one day.” She smiled. “And American! How are you darling?” She hugged me like I was already part of the family. I answered and we all sat around the kitchen table just talking about the tour. 

Suddenly we heard the front door slam, and then an echoed voice in the hall. “Ma! I’m here.”Then he looked at Niall and smiled. “HEY BRO! How are ya? Didn’t think you would be here!” 

“I’ve brought home my girl, Scarlet. Scarlet, this is my brother Greg.” I shook is hand but he went in for a hug. Wow, does all his family hug like this? 

His mother was in the middle of Dinner when we went upstairs where he showed me his room. It was normal, Blue walls, bed, pretty tidy. I looked down on the floor and saw “To kill a mockingbird.” 

“You read this?” He smiled when I asked.“Yeah, it’s the only book i’ve succesfully read really. I don’t like reading.” 

“You don’t like reading?!” I said shocked. Everyone loves reading.. you just have to find the right book.

“No not really. I’d rather be spending time with my beautiful girl.” He said walking over to me on the bed. He got close and pecked me on the lips, but I pushed his head back to mine. Soon we were on top of each other, but it quickly ended when their was a knock on the door. 

“Yeah?!” Niall yelled. 

“Dinners ready!” I heard his mothers sweet little voice. 

Niall got up and raced down the stairs. He really couldn’t resist food. I followed him down and we ate. It was pot roast and mashed potatoes. I’ve never had it before because my mom would never make homemade meals. It was either a frozen dinner, or take out. I’m surprised I never gained any weight. 

**1 hour later**

“Do you wanna go out? I’ll show you some of my old mates. They are really nice.” Niall asked, I couldn’t say no. 

“Of course Niall! I’d love to meet them.” Inside I was frightned. New town, new people. I just can’t handle the public. It just makes me nervous after the incident at the last club we went to..

We got dressed and was ready to leave. Another night, another story.
