"T I'm home! I had to take the subway, an asshole ran over my skateboard." Delaney puts her bag on the kitchen counter as she carelessly looks in the fridge for a snack. She could sense someone in the room and as she closes the door, someone was right behind it. Someone she did not recognize. Before she could ask who they were, they simply plop a box in front of her. She takes the note on top.
"One step ahead of you. -Tony."
She opens the box and finds a brand new skateboard. She smiles and takes her stuff into her room. Even though she was still behind, she caught onto the work easily and finished her homework in a quick amount of time. Then she slips on her suit and goes into town to see if there's anything to stop. Suddenly she hears gunshots and screaming and immediately goes towards it. It's at the bank. She uses her forces to blow open the doors. She sees people in black masks, holding guns and everyone else was on the ground. As they were taking money from the safe, they turn around from the loud sound. They turn to see Sorceress tapping her foot out of frustration. "Really? Bank robbery? Not a good idea." One of them walks closer to her and cocks his gun. "Yeah? And why's that?" She gets into her stance, ready to release hell.
"Because now you have to deal with me."
——— As she walks out of the bank holding the knocked out criminals in the air, bright lights fills her vision. Sirens from the police cars fill the air along with loud commotion from the public and news reporters. She uses her powers to drag the criminals to the officers who then put them in handcuffs once their feet hit the ground. The reporters turn to her now asking a bunch of questions. It is all a noisy blur until one overcomes the other voices as asks "Who are you?"
"My name is Sorceress."
And then a flash goes off, taking her picture.
The next day after the bank robbery, Delaney walks into school with her skateboard under her arm. As she looks around at her surroundings more, she notices a lot of newsletters on the bulletin with some breaking news but she doesn't pay any attention to it.
Delaney closes her locker slowly and makes her way to study hall. She says hello to MJ as she passes by them and goes to the library. As she sits down, she puts in her headphones and reads a book.
Five minutes go by and she feels someone sit next to her. It is Ned and Peter, who seems to be holding a paper. She takes out her headphones and looks at them. "Did you hear about Sorceress? She stopped a robbery yesterday! It's in all of the papers!" She looks at the paper and notices a picture of her in disguise. This morning she only saw the headline but not the picture. Realization hits her.
