Vivienne's Not So Much of a Backstory

Chapter 12

  It was a good 2-hour drive to make it to the festival. When he arrived, Mateo saw Mr. Mint coming towards his car. "MATTIE!! Glad you could make it! We're going to have SO much fun!" Mint said as he led Mateo to his place in line. To Mateo's surprise, Minty introduced him to serval other friends(and here he thought he could get Mint alone). "Guys, look who showed up! Matt, I want to introduce you to Flame, Johnathan, and their dates!" Minty said. 'W-Wait, d-did he invited me as h-his date? Or does he have a date? Was I supposed to bring a date? Well, he did ask me to bring Vivienne.' Mateo thought.

"Hey there! I'm Mateo, nice to meet you all" "Nice to meet ya Matt! I'm Flame and this is my girlfriend Elaine." The orange man said as he pointed to the girl giving two people evil glares. "Elaine? Come meet Mateo!" Flame pulled the dark blue girl (with some force) away and faced her to Mateo. "Oh, hey! I'm Elaine." the girl said shaking Mateo's hand. As Flame whispered to Elaine, Minty pushed Matt to the next pair of people, one being a dark red scary looking man and a galaxy printed girl. "Johnathan, meet Mateo!" Said Minty. The red guy looked at Mateo and smiled calmly. "Hello there Mateo, please call me Mr. M and this in my date Luna." Mr. M proudly presented the familiar looking girl. "Hey, you're one of Vivienne's friends right?" asked Mateo. "Yep! You know Vivienne?" "Yeah he does! Their student and teacher and roommates right?" pointed out Minty. "Wait, Vivienne? Is she a purple haired girl? Short, dark purple dress?" asked Elaine. "Y-yeah. You know her too?" asked Mateo nervously. Thats what started the debate on whether or not Vivienne was a good or bad person. While the debate raged on, Minty handed out everyone's passes and the line began moving. Since Minty didn't know Vivienne all too well he just silently watched the debate. Mateo took this chance to talk to Minty one on one.

"So, so you have a date?" Mateo asked. " Sadly I'm single, that's why I invited you! So we could be a pair and I didn't have to be a third wheel. "
"Then why did you want Vivienne to come?"
"I didn't want to be rude." Minty replied following with "Why didn't she come?" . Mateo told his friend about what happened at school and if her punishment. By the time their conversation ended they were let into the festival.

Mint came up with the plan to spilt-up in pairs and if they see each other to play the nearest game. Whoever won the opposing pair had to buy something the winners wanted (at a reasonable price of course). Then at the end of the night, everyone would get together for the Dana Levio concert.

Flame pulled Elaine away from Mr. M and he and Luna walked off. Mint and Matt walked through some interactive exhibits before meeting Flame and Elaine outside. The closest game was a shooting game, Flame and Matt took the guns and went off with each target making a different sound when hit. Flame won a teddy for Ted and a new phone case from Matt. The day went on till M+M ran into Jonathan and Luna. This time the nearest game was a strength tester. Wanting to impress Luna, Jonathan took the hammer and hit the belle so hard the(whatever you call the thing that goes up) gets stuck for a bit, making Luna swoon. Mint takes the hammer and uses his force blast make the thing crack the bell and get stuck (making Mateo faint on the inside). After helping fix the game, M+M got lunch(paid for by Mr. M and Luna) from a Pop music themed food truck.

At the concert, Everyone was dancing and Minty even got to dance with Dana Levio. Dancing with Minty would have been the best thing to have happen that night if after the concert wasn't even better!
After the concert, the girls went to hang out(to fight each other) leaving the guys together. Tired but not wanting to rest, Everyone just started playing random games. Mateo was selected to play a memory piano game. Mateo, both having an understanding of how to play and a good memory, took the challenge and won a VERY fluffy bird plush. Knowing Minty liked fluff a lot more than Vivienne, he gives it to him. Both girls had to be taken home after a bit so Flame as Jonathan left. Finally being alone with Mint, Mateo suggested they take a pic on the ferrets' wheel.

They both go on and once at the top Mint takes the picture while holding up the plush. Mateo takes a picture of Minty and admires it. Once off, Minty explains how Flame was his ride and asked if Matt could drive him home. They get on the road and reach Mint's house 2 hours later.

"Minty we're here" Mateo said. He looks over at the (adorable) sleeping Mity-green. Not wanting to look for his house keys, Mateo drives up to his house and asks Vivienne(who was looking at the stars) to help bring him in. Matt laid him down on his bed and set on a pair of p.js in case he wakes up wanting to change. Matt got ready for bed and slept on the couch.
