The Couples Retreat 2 *ON HOLD*

Naomii and Keith

Naomii had the worst headache as she laid in bed, curled up in a ball, binge watching Living Single. She was physically exhausted and all she wanted to do was lay in bed all day, but she knew that Keith would probably want to do something other then lying around the house all day. She didn't care what they did, as long as baby talk doesn't come up into the conversation.

"Babe?" Keith voiced.

"Hm?"

"You okay?"

"My head is killing me." She told him. He climbed under the covers and wrapped his arm around her, placing a soft kiss on the back of her neck.

"Do you need anything? An aspirin? Something to drink?"

"Yes, both, please and thank you." He nodded and climbed out of bed, heading downstairs to the kitchen. He grabbed a bottled water from the refrigerator, before rummaging through the cabinets, looking for an aspirin. He found a bottle of Tylenol and hurried back upstairs, making sure his wife was properly cared for. "Thanks babe. I know I've been acting all moody and everything, but I don't mean to take my anger out on you."

"I'm used to it." He chuckled. "But I should be the one apologizing."

"No, don't you dare. I know how much you want a family and I promise...we're going to have a baby when the time is right. I just...I'm scared."

"I know you are and I also know that our child is going to have a little bit of your crazy in them, but that doesn't mean he or she is going to be out of pocket."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I'm old fashion and if our kid decides to turn up, then I'm going to give them an old fashion ass whooping." He said. She laughed, shaking her head as she laid back down.

"Oh my God...I love you so much."

"I know. I love you too baby and I promise that I won't put any more pressure on you about having a baby, only if you promise me that you will let me know when you're ready." He said.

"I promise." She assured him, pulling him down to her lips. "Besides...practicing to make a baby can be very fun."

"You right about that. If your head wasn't hurting right now then I'd bend you over and give you the business."

"Well...give this Tylenol a minute to kick in and we can go from there."

"Say less. I'm going to to run you a hot bath and light them candles you brought with you. Still unsure why you brought candles, but whatever." He said, murmuring the last part.

"Hey, I heard that!" She giggled.

"Good! That means you can tell me why you brought some damn candles with you."

"First of all, those are my stress candles. They soothe me and put me in a state of tranquility." She said.

"Am I the reason why you're stressed? Because I keep bring up wanting to have a baby?"

"What? Of course not babe! My stress has nothing to do with you or having a baby. I only use my stress candles after a game, especially if we lose. Or...after talking to my parents. They drive me crazy." They shared a laugh as she laid down and grabbed her head, feeling lightheaded.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm just feeling a little lightheaded."

"Maybe we should go to the doctor." He suggested.

"No...no, I'm fine. I'm just going to let this pill kick in and hopefully I'll be better."

"Okay well...I'm going to go run you a bath, but if you aren't feeling any better within the next few hours, then we'll go." He said.

"You know I hate hospitals though. Remember when I told you about the time I tried committing suicide when I was sixteen? I could've sworn those doctors were trying to re-kill me after they revived me the first time." She pouted.

"I know how much you hate hospitals baby, but you really don't look so good. As a matter of fact, you look exactly how your sister did the day she fainted during that basketball game." Naomii's eyes widened as she slowly sat up. "What is it?"

"Huh? N-nothing...um...why don't you go ahead and run the bath, and call me when it's ready." She told him. He nodded and kissed her forehead, before heading into the bathroom. Little did Keith know, when Nevaeh fainted during the game...it was because she was pregnant. Now that left Naomii wondering if she were now pregnant as well??
