• Chris •"So what are you sayin?" I looked at Ant confused.
"I'm not asking you to date my sister, I just want you to get her mind off Tarell. And if another guy, you, catches her attention, she'll drop him."
I thought I saw Yasmin walk by with a few girls but something about the face seemed a little different and she had black hair instead of blonde.
"I don't know man. No offense but she kinda weird. I never even seen her smile."
"When we were kids stuff happened... and it really fucked her up. She smiles like maybe once or twice a week." he chuckled.
"This sounds like a project, and I ain't really like school like that."
"Ay, just this one favor. I never intruded on her love life but that nigga is the scum of the earth." he shook his head.
I pondered it for a second and considered since I was done with Khloe and me and Amika were so on and off...
"Bet."
I saw little lights from the corner of my eye and saw Yasmin walking up with the cake in her hands, with her usual mug on her face.
Everyone began singing Happy Birthday in the background as she sat the cake down, we made eye contact until she broke it and walked away.
Antonio didn't feel any type of way cause he was still smiling from ear to ear and I got up, to see where she went.
I circled around people, ending up in the empty kitchen to see her sitting on the counter, with a blunt in her mouth, lighting the tail end.
"Yes?" she asked not looking up.
"Just wondered where you went."
"Why?" she asked inhaling again.
"Do you ever not have an attitude?"
"Not really." she mumbled.
"You act like you need dick in your life."
"I got some the other night. So if that was you shooting your shot, you gone have to come harder than that."
"I see." I bit my lip, grabbing a cup and poured myself a shot before tossing it back.
She hopped down, grabbing my cup and poured some vodka in it and went in the fridge, mixing a few juices with it as she puffed and blew out without taking the blunt from her lips and tipped it off with another liquor.
She slid it to me, and started putting everything back as I took a sip of the drink she made.
"Sex on the beach?" I asked.
"I'd love to." she said and I raised a brow. "Kidding. I bartend at Crazy Girls part time."
"A workaholic?"
"No. I just hate working at the salon. I want my own. And bar tending is just helping me save up."
I nodded, liking her ambition and finishing my drink.
