It's Our Stage

Chapter 7

Aiden's POV

We all arrived at the M-twins house and it was around 10:30 so their mum was probably asleep but it didn't matter because the loft is practically sound proof.

We showed them they way to get to the loft. They were still amazed by how big the house was.

"Seriously, we still don't know how to get to their rooms." I explained.

"Yeah, it's difficult to find." Mike said laughing.

"At least we're safe from killers." Montanna said laughing as well.

"Yeah, that you are." Luke said looking around the room.

"Well, grab whatever you want to sleep with. There's tons of pillows and blankets over there." Mike said pointing to the one side of the loft.

"Wow.. You guys probably spend a lot of time here. Why haven't you shown them your rooms?" Michael asked us.

"It's... Complicated.. Like.. It's our own space. Only our Mum and.. Dad.. Have been in our room and that's when we moved in here. We share a room but it's huge. And separated by a thin wall. It's pretty much like the attic, except you can't really get to it unless you know how to." Mike explained.

"Oh. Okay.." Calum said as their mom came in the room.

"Hey. I've been waiting for you to come home. Ohh, I see you've brought freinds!!" she said excited to meet them. "Hi, I'm Karen. These two are my lovely children." she said introducing herself.

"You two look like her." Luke pointed out.

"Yeah, we get that a lot." Tanna said.

"Well if you need anything you can always call. I'll be in my room." she said leaving the room.

Luke's POV

They look like their mom so much. Montanna and her both brighten up a room. I wonder if Mike and their dad are alike in that way.

"You and her really both brighten up a room the same way. Are Mike and your dad like that?" I asked Montanna.

"Yeah, I was wondering the same thing!" Calum asked.

"Uhm..." she said, looking at Mike.

"Yeah.." Mike answered. What happened. Did something happen to their dad and they haven't spoke much about it?

"Did I just be an ass in front of everyone?" I asked.

"No! Not at all. You wouldn't have known." Montanna said reassuring me.

"What.. Are your parents divorced? So are mine." Ashton asked but I had noticed their mom wore a wedding ring. It was huge how could you not notice it.

"Uhm. No our parents aren't divorced.." Montanna said slowly, the room still quiet.

"Then, what?" Ashton asked pushing the question. Even from the corner of my eye I saw Ari shaking her head mouthing the words 'you don't have to.'

"..So how about some food?" Montanna jumped excitedly and ran out of the room.

"Tanna!" Mike yelled following her out of the room and down the small staircase.

"What'd I do?" Ashton asked.

"Nothing. But I can't tell you what happened... The twins need to do it themselves. But, you do have to know that it is a pushy subject. But, she likes Luke a lot. She'll eventually tell you. She has to. They don't tell anyone. We only know because our mums were really close." Arianna said. "Uhm.. We'll be right back." She grabbed Aiden's wrist and followed Tanna and Mike.
