Batty hurried to her room avoiding everyone else's eyes. Kat wouldn't let her out of the fact he killed all the other night guards, and she killed none. Batty entered her room and started to clean her claws.
A small wire from the stranger at the end of the building slid out from a cut in her hand. It reminded her of Ennard. That's strange, she thought, I might want to see Shard about this.
Batty headed out of her room and knocked on Shard's. "Hello?" the wolf asked, "Oh hi Batty! How are you?" Shard waved at the entrance to let her in. "I'm fine Shard." Batty replied coolly, "I need some help with this." Batty showed her the wire.
"Hmm," Shard sarcastically hummed, "Well I have better news! I'm going to have a pup!" Shard took no notice to Batty's hurt face. "That's great and all, but what about,"
"I'm going to name her Lucy!" Shard interrupted, "Oh what were you talking about?"
"Nothing it has no concern to you anyway!" Batty shouted. She stormed out of Shard's room and closed the door and locked it as Batty went into her room.
Batty had to ask someone else for help. But who?
