Fifteen

Junhui quickly ran upstairs to check on Minghao. Seeing he was still asleep, the older male decided to go and obtain the wolfs-bane from his house now. He told Jiahao what he was doing and decided to bring the other with him so he didn't risk him getting hurt again.

Once they were both ready, Jiahao and Junhui made their way down the street, the only source of light being the street lamps which dimly lit the road in front of them.

"How much longer until we're there?" Jiahao groaned, pulling his jacket around himself more as he shivered a little from the cold. 

"Not long... It's a few streets away" He assured the other male.

Jiahao nodded and continued to walk beside Junhui. After a few more minutes, they arrived at his house. Junhui unlocked the door and lead the other male into the house. He shut the door behind them both and lead Jiahao upstairs. 

As they were about to enter one of the rooms in the seemingly large house, Junhui's father appeared in front of the two.

"Hmm... Junhui, who's this?" The older man asked, looking at Jiahao closely.

Jiahao gulped a little bit and tried not to make eye contact with the older vampire.

"This is Jiahao, he's Minghao's brother" Junhui explained with a faint smile.

Junhui's father nodded a little bit. "Mmm, I see" He murmured. "How is Minghao, by the way? I heard his condition is getting worse" His father said worried.

"That's why were here... We have hopes for a cure so I came here for wolfs-bane" Junhui explained.

His father gave a small nod. "I see... Well, you're in luck. I'll help your boyfriend" He smiled.

Junhui let out a breath of relief and followed his father into his study. His father crouched down by his desk and opened one of the draws, unlocking the safe inside. He pulled out a smile vile which contained wolfs-bane before locking the safe and standing up.

"This should be enough" He murmured before handing it to Junhui.

Junhui placed it into his pocket and thanked his father before leaving the house with Jiahao.

Soonyoung and Joshua had split up to find the ingredients faster, splitting the list between them. Joshua was in some creepy old witchcraft store in search for the last item on his list. He let out a heavy breath of relief once he had found it, quickly paying for it before racing off to Minghao's house.

Soonyoung was still in search of a couple of ingredients. He was in a store, looking for a specific type of flower. He soon spotted it and noticed someone else about to grab it. He gasped softly and immediately made a run towards it. He just grabbed it before the other person did, felling to the ground on his back as he held it in his arms. 

Soonyoung groaned softly and slowly sat up, rubbing his head before smiling softly in victory. The other person looked down at him with furrowed eyebrows. "Hey! I wanted that, asshole!" The other huffed.

Soonyoung sighed softly before slowly standing up, now noticing how small the other male was in stature. "I'm sorry... But trust me... I need this way more than you do" He murmured.

The smaller rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "No need to make up lame excuses" He grumbled. 

"I-I'm not" Soonyoung protested before glancing to the time. "Listen- I just- I owe you one!" He said before quickly running out of the store, leaving the smaller stood there in confusion.

Soonyoung quickly made his way to get the last item on his list before quickly heading to Minghao's house. By the time he arrived; Jiahao, Junhui and Joshua were all stood in the kitchen. Junhui had began putting together the ingredients Joshua had gathered. 

"Oh! You're here!" Joshua said with a soft smile as Soonyoung walked into the kitchen.

"I've got everything you asked for" He said softly, emptying the contents of his bag carefully onto the counter.

Junhui didn't say a word and immediately began adding those to the serum he was creating. Once the correct amounts of everything had been added, he carefully added the few drops of wolfs-bane into the vile before quickly mixing it together.

Once it was complete, turning the correct colour to show it was ready, Junhui carefully withdrew it into a needle so it was ready to be used.

As if on cue, Minghao walked into the kitchen, rubbing his neck from where Junhui had knocked him out earlier.

"What's going on?" The vampire asked, giving a confused expression to the four gathered in the kitchen.

"We think we've made a cure" Junhui said with a soft smile. "Now hold still" He murmured, walking closer to Minghao. 

He tilted Minghao's head to the side and carefully pierced his skin with the needle, injecting the contents of it into the younger males body.

Minghao groaned softly in discomfort and pressed his hand against his neck after Junhui was done, holding onto the older male as he felt a little light headed.  

"Well that hurt" Minghao mumbled, looking at Junhui.

Junhui sighed softly and nodded slowly. "I'm sorry baby... But hopefully this will all be over now" He whispered, rubbing the younger males back soothingly.

"I guess we will leave you too it now... Keep us updated" Joshua said softly before leaving with Soonyoung as Jiahao returned to his own room.

Junhui picked Minghao up in his arms and pecked his lips softly. Minghao wrapped his arms around Junhui's neck and held onto him as he was carried upstairs. Junhui placed Minghao down on the bed before laying beside him. He pulled the brown haired vampire close and cuddled up to him.

"It'll be okay... But for now, lets get some rest" Minghao whispered as he snuggled against Junhui, pulling the covers over them both as he drifted off to sleep.
