Nearly everything has changed the day I wounded the Head of the Base. People have been distant to me and nearly never coming near me. Even my classmates are keeping their distance. At first I was little hurt, but now I have learned not to pay attention to them. I know that only reason I am kept here and not locked up in the ceil is Mike and I will be forever grateful for him.

"Cassandra?" Old Sanity calls my name and I crack my eyes open, giving her sweet smile. "Please, try to meditate. It will help you a lot." She promises me and I nod, trying my best in order to keep my mind blank, but nothing.

You are really blowing my mind. You should try to keep it blank and not full of different ideas and thoughts. By this you are going to become heavy and in order to meditate you have to be weightless.

The Voice whispers in my head and I nod mentally, knowing that it doesn't work like this for me. I get the feeling as if there is something keeping me from being thoughtless. There is something blocking me more than one way.

"Just leave." Old Destiny says suddenly, scaring me. "This doesn't work, just leave for now." She adds in smoother voice and I nod, leaving the chambers they are in.

Something inside of me grows and I know that I am hurt. People have been keeping themselves away from me since that day and I know for sure that it isn't going to change anytime soon. I smile happily once I spot Alvin in the middle of the grass, staring at the blue sky. I run to him and jump on him, hugging him tightly.

"Well, hello there." He greets me and returns to soft hug. "What's the matter?" He asks me and looks directly in my eyes. Since that day guards never attend our lessons and we can speak freely as much as we want.

"Nothing." I try to lie to him, but he can see through me. I sigh and look up at the puffy cloud, floating around. "It's just... People are afraid of me, as if I am going to hurt any of them." He looks at me with sympathetic look and smiles sadly. "I can't understand them. I did what I had to do, and all they want is to lock me up." I say frustrated.

"It happens a lot." He says and smiles. "People tend to do this when they are afraid of someone." He sighs and looks at me. "Cassie, people will always be like that to you and you have to take it, you have to learn managing it, so it won't hurt you anymore." He gives me kind smile and looks back at the school's building.

"It's not fair." I murmur and look down at grass. "People can't tell us what's wrong and what's right and then act like that. I couldn't let him kill me, and at the same time I couldn't have used my powers? where is logic?!" I exclaim and look away from my hands and greenness. "Sometimes I wish to make all of them disappear."

"Do you?" Alvin smirks and shakes his head. "It isn't like that. You have to prove yourself to them." He murmurs and sighs again. "People will hurt you in more than just one way. They will hurt you physically and mentally. They are... evil."

"I know." I murmur and smile sadly. "How do you think, can I go home?" I whisper and look at him with hopeful eyes.

"Where is your home, Cassie?" Alvin asks me suddenly, making me freeze on spot. I open my mouth to tell him that my home is back with my parents and friends, but I can't force words out of my mouth. He looks at me, smiling with a knowing smile.

"I don't know." I mutter and look down in utter shock. " I don't know, where my home is. I don't know where I belong." I say in hysteric voice. I look up, just to see same mirrored expression Alvin facing me. "Where do we belong?"

"I don't know." He says in low voice and looks away from me. "We belong here, alongside other people who has powers, but they don't want to take us, because they are afraid of us. And they believe that we are the evil." He says in low voice. "While only evil in this world is them."
