(Ten Years Ago)

Calum's pov.

Sophia is screaming in agony. Our baby girl is being born right now. Sophia is squeezing my hand really hard and it hurts a little bit but she is in a lot more pain than I am and I can take the pain. When small cries filled the room, I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. Sophia let, me hold our baby girl first. "What's her name?" Luke asked. "I wanted Calum to name her!" Sophia said. Everyone averted their attention to me. I looked down at the small baby in my arms. "Phoebe Nicole Hood!" I said. I smiled when Phoebe grabbed a hold of my finger. I put Phoebe in Sophia's arms. She stared at us, but after a few minutes, she smiled, well the best smile a newborn can give. Everyone laughed at her smile. "She is adorable!" Dove said. Dove, Booboo, Cameron, Mitchell, Thomas, Ashton, Luke, and Michael came into the room an hour ago. It's been 2 hours since Phoebe was born. I was the only person in the hospital room when Kira was born, well, other than the doctors. "Can I hold her?" Dove asked. I lookedat Sophia for cosent. She nodded and handed me Phoebe. I gave her to Dove and she sat down in a chair that was against the wall. We spent the day with Sophia and Phoebe at the hospital. The were in and out of sleep all day, but that is to be expected for obvious reasons. When everyone left, I got comfortable, well as comfortable as you can in a hospital chair and fell asleep.

(Ten Years Later) (Present Day : aka 2026)

Sophia's pov.

"Phoebe! It's time to wake up! We need to pick up daddy from the airport." I said, gently shaking her arm. "I'm up!" she said, shooting out of bed. Calum has been on tour for the last 8 months. He called every night before I put Kira to bed. It's currently 5 in the morning. Their plane lands in an hour. When we got in the car, Phoebe fell asleep.

Calum's pov.

I'm excited to go home. It's been 8 months since I've lst seen my wife and daughter. From the pictures Sophia has sent me of Phoebe, it is clear that she has grown. "We will be landing in 20 minutes. Please get in your seats and buckle your seatbelts as we prepare for landing." a flight attendant said into the intercom. I put my laptop and blanket into my carry on bag and waited for the plane to land. When we got off the plane, we got our bags from baggage claim and waited for our families.

Sophia's pov.

We just got to the airport. I didn't see Calum or any of the boys out front, so we had to go in side. I had to wake up Phoebe again. "Phoebe! We're here! Daddy is waiting inside to be picked up. Don't you want to see him?" I said quietly, while lightly shaking her arm. Her eyes slowly fluttered open. She nodded and got out of the car. I held her hand as we walked into the airport and to the baggage claim area. Phoebe let go of my hand and ran off. "Phoebe! Sweetheart, where did you go?" I panicked. Then I saw Phoebe jump into someone's arms. I recognized the person as my husband. He was hugging her. I walked up to him and he put her down. Luke, Ashton, and Michael attacked Phoebe with hugs. "I missed you!" He said, while kissing me. "I missed you too!" I smiled into the kiss. Suddenly we all heard a thud. We looked over to the guys then at the bench. We saw Phoebe on the floor, unconscious. There was blood streaming out of her nose. We all ran to her. Calum and the guys were freaking out. I was having a panic attack. Calum shook her arm. "Phebes! This isn't funny! Get up!" Michael said. "Baby! Get up! C'mon wake up, baby girl!" Calum cried. I took my phone out of my pocket and called an ambulance. "911, what's your emergency?" an operator said. "My daughter collapsed. Her nose is bleeding and and's unconscious! Please send an ambulance!" I panicked. "Calm down mam. Where are you and how old is she?" the lady asked. "I'm at the Sydney airport. She's 10." I said. "Hold on. We are sending an ambulance. It will be there soon." she said. "Thank you!" I said and hung up. "Soph, her ears are bleeding!" Luke said. "An ambulance is on it's way." I said. There is a large group of people surrounding us. Some of them are fans. Some girls were trying to grab at the boys. "Stop!" Ashton yelled. Everyone jumped when he yelled. Ashton doesn't get angry easily but they were pissing all of us off. "My daughter is hurt! Just give us some space!" Calum said loudly. People were recording the entire situation on their phones. Paramedics pushed through the crowed. Calum picked up Phoebe and laid her down on the stretcher. They rushed her to the ambulance and loaded her into the truck. Me and Calum got in after they put her in. Calum grabbed Phoebe's hand and rubbed circles on the top of her hand with his thumb. They hooked her up to a heart monitor and took her blood pressure. When we got to the hospital, they rushed her into the emergency room, us following close behind. "You guys need to wait in the waiting room." a nurse said. "That's our daughter!" Calum said. "We will let you know when you can see her, but for now you need to wait here while they do some tests." she said. We sat in the waiting room for hours before they let us see her. "Family of Phoebe Hood." a nurse said. We all stood up. We walked over to her. "Phoebe is in the ICU. We found several bruises scattered across her body. She has scars on her wrists from self harm. She is suffering from head trauma and depression.I have to ask, is she getting abused or bullied? At school maybe?" the nurse said. We were processing the information that was just thrown at us. "She self harms?" Ashton asked, tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry to say this, but yes, she does." she said. "Can we see her?" Calum asked. He had anger, sadness, and disappointment in his eyes. He was also crying. The nurse led the way to Phoebe's room. When we walked in, we all started crying. She had feeding tubes in her nose, an IV, and bandages on her arms. She was still unconscious. Calum walked up to me. "Can I speak to you outside?" he asked. I followed him into the hall. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, a hint of anger in his voice and eyes. "I didn't know!" I said. "Sophia, she's starving herself! She's cutting! She is covered in bruises! I could feel her bones when I picked her up! What happened when I was gone?" He yelled. "I don't know what happened to her! She didn't show any signs of something being wrong. She didn't tell me anything! She hid it from me! I wish I knew what happened to her, but I don't!" I said. "We need to figure out what happened, but for right now, we need to put her on suicide watch!" Calum said. "What? We can't do that to her! Se will hate us!" I said. "What choice do we have? It's the only way to keep her safe! She is a danger to herself! I'm not letting our daughter commit suicide! She needs help! This is the only way to help her!" Calum argued. Ashton walked out of the room and over to us. "She needs to be put on suicide watch! We can't risk her hurting herself or worse!" he said. I hesitated. "Fine! I'll talk to the doctor the next time I see him." I said. "She is going to feel betrayed!" I sighed. We walked back into the room. Phoebe had a new bag of feeding tube liquid. It's a disgusting beige color. The feeding tubes made her nose bruise when they put them in. She looked terrible. She was blinking her mostly closed eyes, trying to adjust to the light. When her eyes were fully open, she looked around the room. Her eyes widened when she realized where she was. "No, I don't want to be here! Daddy, get me out of here! Please!" Phoebe cried.
