Celestial Battle
Clouds form overhead,
Shrouding an azure sky white,
Hiding the sun's face.
It brings in the cold, damp breeze.
Its their time to dominate.
The sun's fighting free,
I catch a dazzling glimpse. The
Sky puffs out its chest.
Trying to out best, the sun.
But the clouds shove him back down.
Celestial battle,
I watch, fascination. The
Clouds push back, beginning to
Darken. Preparing to cleanse.
In the end the clouds
Win out. Lightning flashes in
Victory. And Earth
Prepares herself. Thunder rolls,
And the clouds open, smiling.
