Marriage proposal

Sameeksha's POV
Bandana and I finally got home after a long duty at the hospital.

"Abey mene bola tha Colonel Sandhu ko, par na, ham to thehre Punjabi, ham to parathe khaenge. Diet follow nhi karte woh" I told her as we entered the living room.

We stopped when we saw some guests, who were staring at us. I found a familiar face in them, Siddhart?

I nudged Bandana, "yeh to Siddhart hai" I said. "Yeh yaha kya kar raha hai" Bandana whispered.

"Arey yeh dekhie, aa geyi Sameeksha" Maa said coming towards me, I smiled and greeted them. "Beta per chuo" Maa said. I was pretty confused, still took their blessings.

Maa took me in the kitchen.

"Maa yeh..." I said and she interrupted me. "Sameeksha ladka boht accha hai, hamne haan kardi" She said excitingly, "haan...haan!? Kis cheez ke lie haan?" I asked as my hearbeat increased.

"Arey teri shaadi ke lie" She said casually. "Sh...shaadi? Kiske saath?" I asked hoping it was a joke, "Siddhart ke saath, aur kiske saath?" She asked.

I looked at her in disbelief.

"Mazak haina? Maa abhi mazaak nhi please" I said, "beta me esi baat pe mazak kyu karungi? Hamne teri shaadi Siddhart ke saath fix kar di hai" She said, "itna accha rishta saamne se aaya hai, ham mana kese karte? Yeh bhi nhi pata tha tu kab aa rhi duty se, to wait karana theek nhi tha" She said.

"Maa ek baar pooch to lete isse" Bandana said, "isme kya poochna? Siddhart me burai hi kya hai jo yeh mana karegi?" Maa asked.

"Me Siddhart se shaadi nhi karungi" I said each word clearly.

I was about to leave when Maa stopped me, "shaadi to teri Siddhart se hi hogi, marzi se ya zabarsti" She said.

I looked at Bandana, helplessly.

"Maa ek baar" Bandana said but Maa stopped her, "Siddhart" She said and left.

I kicked the door and went straight to my bedroom.

"Sameeksha ruk!" Bandana said following me, but I didn't stop and closed the door of the room.

Abhishek's POV
I was at home watching tv, when Bandana called me and asked me to come home soon.

I immediately left for Sinha House, and on my way I went to Manjot's place and took him with me.

When we reached there, we were welcomed by Sameeksha's mother, which was quite unusual.

"Laddoo khao" She said feeding me, "kis khushi me Aunty?" I asked chewing the laddoo.

"Sameeksha ki shaadi ki khushi me" She said. I suddenly started coughing, I coughed so hard that my face became red.

"Arey, poora chehra laal ho gaya bechare ka, Bandana paani laa" Aunty said. Bandana gave me a glass of water.

I looked at Bandana while drinking that water, she signed me to wait.

"Aunty ham mil sakte hai Sameekaha se?" Mandy asked, "haan haan, jao" She said.

I signalled Bandana to come with me. We started walking upstairs.

"Please bata sakti ho what the fuck is going on here?" I gritted my teeth.
"Pehle Sameeksha ko uske room se bahar nikalo" She said. I knocked at the door and called her. She immediately opened the door and hugged me tightly. She cried her heart out.

Somehow, I managed to calm her down. We went inside.

"Ab batao, kya chal raha hai yeh sab" I asked. "Siddhart ka rishta aaya hai iske lie, aur Maa ne haan kardi" Bandana said.

"Kon Siddhart?" I asked, "woh...woh Siddhart Negi" Bandana said in a low tone.

"What the fuck!? Negi? Sidd? Hamara Sidd?" I asked and turned towards Mandy. He nodded.

"Uska Sameeksha se kya connection!?" I asked. "He liked her" Mandy said.

"Okay people, yeh kis kis ko pata tha?" I asked controlling my anger. "Ham teeno ko" Bandana said.

"Mujhse yeh baat kyu chupai geyi? Tu to most of the time mere saath rehta hai na?" I asked Mandy, "Abhay Banna uski koi gal..." Bandana said but I stopped her, "me Manjot se baat kar raha hu, beech me mat bolo" I said gritting my teeth.
