March 17, 2018 I decided to start this journey and write something to initially relieve my sorrow after the death of my grandmother on February 1st, 2018.

Little did I know, I would be taken on a ride examining myself, questioning why I was who I am. Essentially how did I get to this broken point in my life and where my heart was.

This novel sends you on a ride straight to my soul. There are things in the novel I had never told anyone before or even had the courage to say. But I had to do this, for the teenagers in quest to discover themselves and define themselves.

What you're looking at is the final tenth time throughout high school where I tried to define my personality and my sexuality for the world around me. Even after finishing this novel I decided that I could still the change.

And that's what I want teenagers around the world who read this to understand. You can change. You are fluid. You are worthy to be loved in all versions of you. I hope that by my vulnerability conversations all around the world can redefine what teenage-hood looks like and what it truly means to fight for survival unapologetically.

Hope you enjoy!
