(Narrator *me*)
Meg woke up the next day, Milo was still by her side. She played with the strands of Milo's hair. . . Meg quietly hummed a song softly, she recognized that song from somewhere. . . You can count on me like 1, 2, 3. Meg brushed that thought off and drifted her eyes on Milo.

Milo opened his eyes, revealing light brown eyes. "Morning, Blondie."

Meg blushed, she hadn't noticed that they were face to face. She scooted away from him to break the contact. Meg slowly got off the bed, Milo quickly went after her.

"Meg, you're not stable." Milo told her.

"Milo, I want to go outside. Why can't I go?" Meg asked, she gripped Milo's wrists tightly.

Milo looked around the room, from side to side. "Fine, come on. I'll take you outside."

"Yay!!" Meg exclaimed, she clapped her hands happily.

"Blondie, chill. You're going to wake up our parents." Milo had an arm wrapped around Meg's waist.

"Sorry." Meg whispered.

The pair started to walk slowly to the door. Meg kept stumbling on each step she took, she winced. Her head throbbed with pain, Meg held onto Milo tightly.

"Is there something wrong, Blondie?" Milo gave Meg a worried look.

"Um, no, I'm fine. I promise." Meg quickly came up with an answer.

"Are you sure?" Milo stopped walking, making Meg stop on her tracks.

"Yes, I'm sure." Meg let out a breath.

Milo nodded and continued to walk with Meg. Once they got outside, Milo made Meg sit next to him on a bench.

"Milo, what did my mom tell you?" Meg asked Milo, she looked up at him.

"She was just telling me to stay away from you." Milo mumbled.

"Why?. . ." Meg looked concerned.

"Your mom has been trying to separate us since we were little. . . But nothing works, we're still together." Milo explained.

"What have we done together?" Meg wondered.

"We always stay together, we never leave each other's side. We always know how to cheer each other up. . . Everything was great. . . But then, this happened." Milo seemed happy at first, but then he was upset.

"Yeah. . . I lost my memory. . . I know." Meg said softly.

"Don't be upset, it's not your fault. . . Okay?" Milo held Meg's hand.

"But you always get upset that I don't remember you." Meg argued.

"That's different, Meg." Milo snapped.
