Chapter 5 - The Institute ➰

Alec's pov

I hear Jace shouting for me to get the door but I was practising with my bow in the training room,so I just ignored him. Jace being his arrogant self bursted into the training room causing me to miss my shot.

Jaces pov

I showed Clary and the others their rooms and then sprinted down the stairs and burst through the doors of the training room and was greeted by a very angry Alec.

Alec's pov

I then turned to Jace who had a smug look written all over his face. What the hell Jace? You made me miss my shot.

Jace just laughed and made a comment about me looking like an angry little kid when I was angry. I asked him what's up and whats with the smug look on your face? Then he just acted like an innocent little kid and in a very high pitched voice replied "nothing's up and what smug look?" I replied by saying "I know that face jace what have you DONE!"

Jaces pov

Alec was clearly angry at me for interrupting his training but it was really amusing to watch Alec being angry.

I replied to Alec not wanted this to result in a fight by saying"I haven't done anything wrong,oh I am just very happy that the Blackhood girl , the Morgenstern's,in particular Clary Morgenstern ,the cute red head ,and their friends will be staying with us for a while".

Alec's pov

"Oh yes I forgot about that",wait a second you like a Morgenstern? Jace then looked at me with a suspicious look "you knew that they were coming?" Yes I replied so did you,that is if you actually listen to hodge or mother or father but obviously you don't,wait don't try and change the subject you like CLARY!!! Remember Jace the rune to fix a broken heart is the most painful one. ( bold text quote belongs to Cassandra Clare I just had to add it in)

Jace's pov

Before I got a chance to reply to Alec.Clary and Izzy came bursting through the training room doors.

Thanks for reading this chapter I know it wasn't great and it was short but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.

I will try to add some Clace moments in the next chapter.
