Chapter Three

Thalia's POV

When I walked into school, I saw Percy talking to Annabeth. So, I walked over to them, making kissy noises.

"Hey love birds, finally admit that your in love with each other?"

"We are not!" They said at the same time, then blushed, and looked at their shoes.

"Uh, you totally are. So when you find out, tell me! I thought you were smart Annie! I knew Percy was always dumb, but not you!" I mockingly gasp.

"Hey, I'm not that dumb!"

"Uh, yes, I agree with Thalia. Your head's full of seaweed. And Thalia, I am smart and if you call me Annie one more time, I will run you through with my dagger,"

"Ooh, so scary! So anyways, what are you two talking about? Your undying love for each other?"

"What? No! Shut up Pincone Face!"

"Only if you do, seaweed brain,"

"uh, why do I even talk to you?"

"Because I'm your favorite cousin,"

"Nuh-uh! I believe that role is taken by your brother,"

"oh shut up! Stop avoiding my question. Why are you two hanging out? I thought you hated him Annabeth. Have your feelings changed?"

"Shut up! And no, I just found out that he is a demigod too! Why didn't you tell me?"

"Eh, well I figured you, being all smart and all will eventually find out. I knew Percy wouldn't. Unless a monster attacked or something," I said, jokingly.

"Um..." They stared at each other and then at me. 

"Oh, gods, seriously? Annabeth, seriously? Did you guys get hurt?"

"Nope. Just a hellhound. Killed it in no time,"

"Wow Percy, I'm really impressed," Note the sarcasm.

"Whatever,"

Just then, the bell rang, and the three of us walked into math to be greeted by Nico. Leo was too busy flirting with other girls to notice.

"Hey guys."

"Hey." I was about to tell him that Annabeth and Percy finally found out that they were demigods, but our teacher interupted me.

"So, I will be assigning partners for this neww project. First,"

oh great. 

Percy's POV

Dang. Partners. Hopefully I get someone smart. I zoned out until I heard Thalia's name.

"Thalia with Nico, Amy with Josh..."

I wiggled my eyebrows at her. I knew she and Nico had huge crushes on each other. She just glared at me and started talking to Nico.

"Leo with Maria," I saw Leo grin and the girl, Maria shriek and screamed gross after looking at him. I stifled my laughter just in time to hear:

"And Percy with Annabeth."

Seriously? That's the best luck I've ever had. Now I can spend more time with her.

"Um, so, do you want to come to my house to finish it?"

"Sure, where do you live?"

"Oh, it's okay, I'll just drive you,"

"Oh. Okay thanks."

"No problem. Meet me at my locker after school."

As I walked out the door, I turned and sneaked a peek at Annabeth. And I could swear she was smiling.
