Percy's POV

"Annabeth? What-" Annabeth breaks away from her and Luke's make-out session and stares at me with wide eyes.

"Perce-no it's not what it looks like!"

"Than what is it, Annabeth? It's exactly what it looks like! I can't believe Sam was right! What, was I not good enough for you?" I was about to cry, so I left. But not before punching Luke and breaking his nose.

-at Percy's house-

"You guys totally new! And you didn't tell me!" I yelled at Thalia and Nico.

"Yeah we new. Leo didn't though. But still, we didn't want to hurt you. Plus you wouldn't have believed us!" Thalia tried to reason with me.

"But you still could have told me," I mumbled knowing I wouldn't have believed them.

"We're sorry." Nico added.

"Do you know why she cheated on me?"

"Well, she told me after she and Luke kissed, it felt more right than yours and her kiss?" Thalia said it more like a question

"Gods I hate her. And Luke. I guess I owe Sam an apology,"

-one month later-

I would always see Annabeth with Luke kissing in the hallways like they were trying to rub it in my face or something. Annabeth tried to apologize, though I never accepted it. She gave up in the end. Sam became a part of my group. (Leo, Percy, Thalia, and Nico) and I'd like to say that Brianna left me alone. Of course she didn't. Now that I was single, she tried everything to get me to go out with her. But my answer was always no. Even if I acted like I hated Annabeth, I still liked her. Seeing her with Luke tore me apart, but I sometimes would get over it.

So one day, Sam and I were talking about our swimming competitions, Thalia and Nico were flirting, and Leo was making something when we heard a big commotion by my locker. So naturally, we went to go look.

Annabeth was crying and screaming at Luke, while he had his arm around Brianna's waist.

"-just cheat on me!" She screamed.

"I got bored of you and found someone better than you. You cheated on your ex, so you have no right to yell at me, for cheating on you." Luke shouted back and then he and Brianna strutted down the hall. Well, Brianna strutted. He swaggered.

It took me all my will power not to run to Annabeth and hug her and comfort her. I was having a mental debate whether or not I should comfort her, but Sam stopped me.

"Man, you could do better than her. She deserves it." He says. Than walks to class.

I quickly disperse with the crowd leaving Annabeth there so I wouldn't end up comforting her. Throughout the rest of the day, Annabeth looked miserable while I thought of what Sam told me. You could do so much better than her. She deserves it.

Sorry for the short chapters. I will try to make them longer.
