Nightcore ⇨ NIVRO - Flares

"Hey Cammy,"

Cammy looked up at me with sad puppy eyes. "Why didn't you come to my house like you said?"

Oh Shit. I forgot. I thought, biting the inside of my cheek.

Scratching the back of my head, I said, "Well, long story short, Xander and I made up," I sort of lied.

Cammy jumped up, snapping her fingers and pointing at me. "I knew it!" She shouted. "You and Xander are dating!"

I felt a warmness crawl up my neck and splatter on my cheeks. "Wh-what? N-no..." I managed to say. "We're only friends. Just friends...I think."

Cammy plastered a sly look on her face. "Uh huhh, that's what they all say."

I covered my face. Oh god~

Cammy wrapped her arms around my shoulders and whispered, "If you'd like to know anything, lemme know. I know everything about Xander."

At first, I opened my mouth to question if she knew that Xander was the son of Lucifer, but I decided to keep that to myself, just in case she didn't know.

  "Okay..." I murmured.

"Chino, Cammy, we need you at Zero Sun," Amya called.

The two of us looked at each other blankly.

  "What's Zero Sun?" I asked.

Amya beamed. "I'm glad you asked," she said. "Zero Sun is the 'secret' part of the academy. It's reserved for special students, whether they're smarter than a normal studet -" Amya tapped her temple -"or they're specialized in, let's say, martial arts or fighting." Amya lightly stuck her fist out into the air, as if she was fighting.

"And there's certain classes you can take in the Zero Sun. If you specialize in fighting, you'll be put in a couple of fighting classes. If you specialize in arts and crafts, that's the class you'll be put in. If you specialize in more than one classes, you'll be put in all the ones you're good at. It's really cool in my opinion."

I nodded, processing all the information. "And if we don't like any of the classes?"

Amya's face softened. "Well, you can ask to be put in regular classes, and they'll do it," she said. "But I hope you don't have to do that because that's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and they'll have to erase your memory is Zero Sun."

Cammy squealed quietly. "So that means I'm actually good at something?"

Amya nodded. "Yeah," she nudges Cammy. "But you're good at a lot of things so I'm not surprised." Amya turned to me. "I remember hearing them talk about you, saying that you're probably at a college level of intelligence, which is a good thing, trust me."

A small smile appeared on my face. "Who are 'them'?" I had to ask.

  Amya grinned. "You'll see,"

"And this is the fighting class that the two of you were assigned in,"

I raised one eyebrow. "Fighting? It looks more like a mafia group," I commented as the three of us looked at some of the Zero Sun fighting classes.

  Cammy nodded in agreement.

Amya laughed, her chestnut brown hair falling to her shoulders. "Well, we're almost like trained assassins, but we hunt demons and take their souls instead."

I gulped. I hope they don't find out about Xander, or else there's gonna be a world of pain and drama.

Amya lead Cammy and me upstairs to where the actual fighting classes were. Amya knocked on the door and there was a deep voice that said, "What's the password?"

Amya turned and winked at the two of us. "Does it look like I need a goddamn password to get inside my own damn class? Open the shit up you jackass," Amya shouted and I had to cover Cammy's mouth to keep her from bursting out laughing.

The door flung open and Amya walked inside with us trailing behind her.

"Are those the kids you and Xavier were talking about?" Leo said, eyeing me up and down.

Amya nodded. "Xavier advised that if Chino came here, Cammy should come aswell," she added. "It sucks that he isn't here right now, but he'll be back soon."

Amya went to the front of the room. "Settle down everyone," she said, her voice now loud and commanding. "Chino and Cammy are new here, so please give them a warm welcome. But before we do that, we have some demons around the area."

Suddenly, the ground underneath us started to shake and rumble. Cammy had let out an ear piercing screech and clung onto me whilst I held onto the small island in the middle of the floor.

"Get into position!" Amya instructed, but as soon as she finished, the earthquake was over.

"Woah...what the hell was that?" Atio asked, brushing off some debris from his clothing.

"An earthquake, what else do you think it was dumbass?" Fumiko grumbled.

Amya clapped her hands. "Is everyone alright?" She asked and the eight of us nodded.

Amya spun on her heel. "Hitoshi, search up the spawn of the earthquake, and see if there's a man-made cause."

Hitoshi nodded and started tapping away on his computer. I help Cammy and Ilyah up on their feet.

"Amya, the earthquake spawn is in a forest," said Hitoshi, slightly pushing his black glasses up his nose. "There is a man-made cause to it, but it's unidentifiable."

"Okay, good job," said Amya. Turning to the rest of us, a grin spread across Amya's face. "C'mon team, we're camping!"

  Poor Cammy, she didn't get that sleepover like she wanted ;-;

If you guys were wondering, Xavier is still alive. He's just rEaLlY busy, I promise XD

Also, doubt post in one day, w h a t? Ikik lmao
