"AU: In which Lucas has feelings for is friend"

"Are you sure?"
Lucas nodded confidently, holding up his head as he answered. "Yes, today is the day I confess to M/n Hyung."
Johnny smiled, patting the younger's back, congratulating him on the new found confidence. Eyes focusing on the entrance, a h/c haired male walked through the door, his hair messy and uniform out of place- probably due to the minimal amount of time he had to get ready.
M/n sighed, dropping the countless amount of letters that he had received that morning on his desk.
"Another day full of confessions, huh?" Johnny asked, tearing his gaze away from a now terrified Lucas that sat in front of him.
The younger tiredly nodded, plopping down in his seat, resting his head on his arms. It had only been homeroom and he couldn't count the amount of confessions he had received.
Johnny looked over at Lucas expectantly, waiting for him to say something. Lucas merely opened his mouth, as if he was going to say something, only for him to close it afterwards.
"H-Hey Hyung." he finally got out, catching M/n's attention. Immediately smiling at the younger, M/n's mood brightened, "Hey Lucas!" he chirped.
Johnny signaled for the younger to continue, waiting for him to confess, but instead he did the opposite.
"D-Did you study for the test today?" M/n's mouth turned into the shape of an 'o', realization covering his features.
"We do have a test today!" he marveled, catching the attention of their classmates. Some giggled, already use to his reoccurring forgetfulness.
Johnny watched the two's interaction from their seat. He knew how Lucas felt towards M/n, and always pushed him to confess, but the situations always ended with Lucas backing out.
He should've known that this would be no different.

"Lucas, wait up!" M/n yelled in hopes of catching the younger's attention. Slinging his bag over his arm, he ran up to Lucas who stood by the entrance of the classroom.
"I was hoping if we could walk to the next class together," he explained when getting a confused look from the younger.
Walking out of the classroom, M/n had sparked up a conversation between him and Lucas, which mainly revolved around school life and other hobbies. Laughing as they slowed down, M/n soon saw the entrance of his next class, breaking off from Lucas he waved goodbye.
