Calum didn't show up. But what scared me was, he knew where I live and he could be looking threw the window anytime. Like when I get dressed. My eyes widened at the thought. I shuddered and fell back on my bed.

I can't believe what happened though. My first kiss was Calum Hood.

But why would he lean in, did he like me too? Well then world war 3 is gonna start.

"Ruth? May I come in?" Mom knocked on the door.

"No. Go away." I groaned as my mom walked in anyway.

"Listen, honey, tell me whats wrong." She came in and closed the door.

"Well, I bumped into Calum and kinda-well-kissed him a little than he kissed me and Michael saw then-"

"Back it up, Michael? Michael Clifford?"

"Thats the one and only."

"Stay away from him, he is dangerous." Mom warned, but she was overprotective.

A cold was like a deadly disease, a scar was self harm, and a bruise was like a breakout of a zombie apocolyspe for her.

"How?" I asked, my curiosity coming out.

"Just-stay away from him." Mom said sternly and looked down at her watch, "Time to go to bed, alright? Its school tomorrow and you might wanna get a couple hours in."

I hate when she didn't finish our coversations.

"Okay, night mom." I said as she turned the light out and shut the door.

Why won't she tell me why he is dangerous? He barely even speaks to anybody! A knocking on my window got me out of my thoughts, making me stand up and open it as quietly as I can.

"Calum?" I whisper shouted, yes thats a thing.

"Hey, Woods." He said, dropping the rocks that were in his fist. "Lets go for a walk, instead. Ill explain why I am late."

I nodded my head and hopped out the window, about a 2 feet drop. I landed on my knees, and stood up.

"I thought you were a good girl," Calum chuckled.

"Fuck that shit." I smirked as we started walking.

We went to the back alley wich was almost completly dark, the moon the only source of light. I wondered how he knew were I lived, to be honest, its really creepy. But, we were my friends, so it didn't really matter. But still.

I looked at Calum who had his hands dug deep in his pockets, kicking rocks as we walked.

"I was wondering about something." I statted and Calum looked at me.

"About what?" He asked, his brown eyes looking into mine.

"Michael." I started, "Why doesn't he talk much?"

"Something happened between me and his sister, she went missing when we were taking a walk. And she wasn't found. Ever. And she was the only family Michael had left, his mom and dad left him, so thats why he lives with me, but he has really bad depression now. So he has to take pills. And that wasn't his mom at the door, it was my aunt." Calum explained. I was trying to proccess the information. Wow, Calum's aunt looks like Michael.

"Oh, but is that why he doesn't speak?" I asked and Calum nodded.

"Yes, but promise me something, Please, please don't tell anybody," Calum begged, "Especially what happened today," he grabbed my wrist, making me stop walking and look into his eyes, "Promise?"

"I promise," I said as he took one step closer.

"I don't want them to make fun of you about it, thats the only reason. And I sware, I won't tell anybody either." He said, our faces centimeters apart.
