My dad finally puts down thats newspaper to show his face. He stares at me for a few seconds.
"Why are you so bumbed kiddo?" He asked
"nothing" i replied
"C'mon its your first day of high school!" He said
"Mehh" i said
My mom turned around from washing the dishes.. C'mon Alicia get your stuff ready.
"Okay" i said leaving the table
I went into my room grabbed my shoulder bag from last year and put it on as well as putting on my hightop converse.
My mom was already waiting near the door.
"Ready kiddo?" She asked
"Sure" i replied
She went first, i closed the door behind me.

We were in the parking lot of the school, i got out of the car quickly before anyone sees me with my mom. Then while im walking my mom rolls down the window
" BYE HAVE A GOOD DAY A SCHOOL SWEETIE" she yells while blowing kisses
"Moooomm!" I yelled back
I awkwardly run to the building. Hopefully no one saw me with my mom. I turned the corner and there was two groups of people laughing at me..
"Great" i said
I walk into the building... Hearing loud noises and other peoples conversations.
"Woah" i said to myself
I turn to my left and i hear my best friends Cassidy and brooke calling my name. I instantly run over greeting them
"Hey!" I said
"Hey!!" Cassidy and brooke replied at the same time.
" omg im sooo excited!" I said
" same!" Said cassidy
" did ya get your locker number??" Asked brooke
" ya. In the mail" i replied
"Cool, whats the number we can find it" said cassidy
" ok...ummm 247" i said back
I followed cassidy to where ever she was going.. Then we stopped.
